does anyone have the clean sheets stats by goal keeper for this season?
i know we have been poor this season but i have a feeling pepe is still in with a good shout, im geussing he has around 15?
i think pepes two off the top at 11

Not that this has anything to with the injuries to defenders and the constnt amount of changes to the back 4 throughout the first 2/3rds of the season. People easily forget that we have consistently had one of the best defences over recent seasons whilst using zonal marking

People will always use zonal marking as a stick to beat Rafa with, but the stats dont lie. Unlike the press.

Up until christmans, our deffence was abysmal. I wrote at the time that we were on course to conced 50 league goals, most under Rafa has been 28. We'd conceded 25 before we were halfway throught the season.
But after then, we've had pretty much the best defence in the league. Conced 7 in 13 after xmas, the equivalent of just over 20 goals over a whole season.

That is crazy that Pepe is still in the running for this. To think, his chances are only likely to increase for the remainder of the season as our defence seems to be improving since Kenny and Steve Clarke came in.

so a clean sheet today would still put reina in the running, which is very good considering the way wr perfomed up untill christams.

They will screw Reina like they did last season. Giving it to Cech although he got the same clean sheet with Reina but with less games played.

I know no chance. But i think he pushed Robben in the face afterwards and that got him the red maybe.

Ah yes, I remember now. He touched his (padded) glove gently on Robben's cheek and he went down as though he'd been shot.
The ref said the tackle would have been a booking, had the appeal succeeded, but that failed and he was stuck with a 3 game ban. Wasnt even a booking imo though, debateable if it was even a foul.

Reina will always be in with a shout, he has won 4 out of 5 golden gloves with a fifth on the way if things continue as they are. :)

You've only listed 9 but your right it is ten, Add in the clean sheet against fulham.
Heres hoping we continue our clean-sheet form with Kenny and Reina gets it this year!
