im just back from school, it was my first day and i went into year 9, summer was finished for me so i was a bit ********** off but it wasn't that bad!
i a whole new uniform because i grew quite alot during the summer and it all felt really weird, we had 6 fifty minute lessons, lunch and two breaks,
i missed my first lesson because we were being told new changes in assembly,
the second lesson was maths :-/, third was art, fourth was english and last was french,
it wasn't too bad, but i enjoyed see all my mates again and we had a nice game of footy!

oh right, yeah well here year 13 is upper sixth i think, are you enjoyin it?
All I will say is listen to your parents when they tell you that school / college is the best time of your life! I never believed it. Now after 6 years of being in a full time job slowly numbing my brain I realised!

My first day of year 12 is tomorrow. No lessons 'til next Wednesday though :)
My school starts next Tuesday (year 11). At the moment, I'm trying to absorb a bit of Spanish into my brain. :sleepy:
I am still in summer vacations.
I bunked off.

same, it felt really weird!
Well I was on the brink of breaking my wrist with all the writing (ah the joy's of Leaving Cert), we're going through shocking heat since school started back and had to stand on a table to be drawn in art, not much space between my head and the ceiling, bit nauseating in its way for some reason :(
And that's all in 7 and a half hours!

Went back on Monday:crying:
I did get off on June 10th, mind, so it was just short 3 months:)
It was an average day, but in Homeroom (like Registration, you basically sit around doing **** all for half an hour) a guy asked the teacher if we could have beds in the room (as it was so boring). The reply came back
"I don't want my room looking like a crack den"
Also, before that the teacher gave us some form to fill in with like our goals and stuff. Some of the best entries:
What you are doing now:
Breathing
Looking at this paper
Writing
(All mine)
What you hope to do in 1 year:
Survive American school gang war
(My mate Alex)
What you hope to do in 5/10/some number of years:
To continue breathing
(Me)
The guy who asked for the beds also wrote "Idk" (not "I don't know) for a few:D

Oh dear god. I hope your teacher has a better job of making out your sentences. For **** sake man, a bit of punctuation wouldn't go astray.

Use this time in school to start building up your will power. You'll need it when you get a job. You'll need will power to keep getting up in the morning and going to work. Start building up you will power now or work will DESTROY you.

Sat in the common room, ate a panini.
Took some more notes in business.
Home at 12:30.
I wish i was back in school
Never, ever thought i would find myself thinking or saying that!...but i really miss being with all the lads every day and playing endless amounts of footie!
I love reminiscing!

nothing, as there's little to no jobs going :crying
Why did teacher make you stand on a table:confused:
For art, I was volunteered by the teacher to be drawn so I had to stand on a table so everyone could get a good view.
I hid in the bushes near the local primary.
Four more days of year 11:)
Finished all my preliminary courses besides for advanced and extension maths. Have my advanced assessment tomorrow and my extension assessment on monday.

I'm in year 13 too and I only had a lesson at 1:25pm, so I was sat in the common room for most of the day playing some class zombie survival game. T'was epic.

Slepth through Spanish, slept through maths, dozed through reaction rates in chemistry, made a pointless questionnaire for some coursework or something in DT, about 10 minutes of volleyball and continually turned my computer on and back off again through Geography. Hour or so of physics homework. :sleepy:

Some sports vocabulary in French, carbohydrates in Chemistry, resonance in Physics, word formation (that would be the most appropriate translation) in Slovene and then 2kms of running in PE. An average day.
Second week of year 13.... almost at suicide alert lol
in my 2nd or 3rd week of year 9, my first lesson was r.e when we learnt about sexual relationships, bit of a laugh :-D,
then we did different clothes types in french,
then plant cells in biology,
arcs and volumes of pyramids and cones in maths,
world war 1 in history,
and developing and developed countries in geography, played some footy at break pretended to be meireles and scored a sick goal! :-)
I am re-sitting year 12, so I hardly do anything. Had sociology first, didn't do anything because they were writing essays that I've already written (from last year). Didn't do anything in I.T because I done it all last year. Then had 2 free lessons, where I played a bit of paper ball tennis, then went home an hour and a half early.
It's been a tough day.

Commando ?
So the holidays finished yesterday, had to go back to school today, and it was pretty crap!
It was good seeing all my mates but there was hardly any point going in!
I had PSHE first thing where I learned about Euthanasia and watched a film I'd already seen, but it was interesting I admit!
Then in drama we where doing black comedy, just writing random things down.
I'll write what I did after I'm back from athletics in the dark! :(
On the bright side, I get a Subway afterwards! :scarf
College;
First lesson: English Lit, we were told to read a book but i just read a summary and got away with it.
Lunch: Went to maths, did some circles equations
Physics: "mini past paper" got 21/35. Not bad seing as ive got a week to revise.

Drama lessons used to be the best, all we did was run up and down the stairs, mess around with the props then do a half arsed attempt at whatever play we we were supposed to be doing

Didn't do much I would do normally. English lesson and Maths and Science tests. Did P.E. at the end of the day (I did Netball which was disappointing) in the freezing cold and slipped and broke my ankle.
I didn't really break my ankle. I'd still be in hospital. But I did badly bruise it, which isn't a joke.

I did it a couple of months ago. It's hysterical! I got badly told off for going into a laughing fit when I was asked what is the female "area" called. Best lesson for a laugh.

Me and my friend recorded the teacher on our phone during ours. :D
In my brothers class, a Mexican lad stood up and said "Miss, is it the same with cats?".
Just remembered this thread! Dayum, my grammer used to be awful :D
Anyways, today we learned CPR in PSHE, we got dummys and steralised mouth pieces, we performed mouth to mouth and practised chest compressions, it was so fun! :D
Then we had music, where we are creating a theme tune to a quiz show.
We had founders day assembly which lasted for ages, was a right doss about! When they hyms came on me and my mates all sang quite load trying to take the ****.
Had english, comprehension and worked on our plays.
In activity break, I had a shocker in football, I played as Raul Meireles. I combined rugby and football together, but then again that was the point of the game, we played on the field it was called "fouling footy".
Then final two lessons, History, where most people did a presentation about something to do with WW2, mine was about D-Day, went well!
Lastly Spanish, I got in trouble for not doing Spanish homework and got a massive lecture in how I don't listen to the teacher and don't concentrate in class, she crunched my sheet up and threw it in the bin! *****!
I don't take Spanish too seriously though, because next year I'm dropping it cos I'm doing French for GCSE.
school today- ********** about, maths, ********** about again, physics ( which is a massive cotch), chemistry- blew **** up!!!
only jokin kid- finished school a while back but my advice to you is work hard and stay focused and I guarantee you wont regret it. obviously have fun, play a few pranks etc but never forget why your there. Good luck mate! :scarf

It only gets easier, trust me! You can do this!
The only thing is that instead of stressing over education, you stress over exactly how you're going to pay off your student debts... :FP:
I don't know why many people think of university graduates as the cleverest people in society... I'm currently sitting between getting a first degree or an upper second in either English or orthoptics (massive range, I know) and I'm proper dense LOL
