I'll give you a bit of advice, don't do bets just for the sake of it, bookies make alot of their money of people going in and doing stupid football bets. Bet to win not for the fun of it.

basically, you put a unit stake on the 247 bets (e.g 10p would make the bet total £24.70) This gives you 247 individual betting slips so to speak, each at 10p each.

if you had arsenal, wigan, liverpool, spurs, scum, real, everton, barca

you would have 1 single bet on each team
28 doubles e.g wigan and liverpool, liverpool and spurs, barca and real etc
56 trebles eg liverpool everton scum, scum barca real etc etc

Better off going for away teams as u get decent odds, and even if 1 team loses, you can still make a tidy profit.

2 teams lose, you will usually make a tiny profit

3 lose, then almost break even


I always put a seperate couple of quid on the straight accumulator aswell......as you only have (in this case) 10p on the acca - and would be gutted if a 300 or 400/1 acca came in without a decent stake!

I also had a lucky 5 fold come in back in euro 2008 staked my last £40 on a 5 fold and it returned £1400, payed for me first car :D

Yeah i've had some big bets in my time some winners some losers
But if i have a Treble as a rule anything between £25 and £100 usualy short prices eg.........£25 placed say £60 back happy with that.
Single bets can be bigger but i never chase big odds if you can afford to put say £600 on a 1/6 its a good earner.

I never usually bother with trebles. You have to lay far too much down to see any sort of massive return. I prefer the small stake and about 8 or 9 teams to make it interesting.
