View Full Version : I Went In To The Hillsborough Justice Shop At Anfield Today And......................

Dear all,
As some of you will know...
Last night, on the 13 anniversary of the disaster, some [insert words you feel most suitable here], broke in to the Hillsborough Justice Shop in Anfield.
Donations were stolen and so to a computer with vital information on it.
I therefore felt it an appropriate day to go in there and offer my sympathy.
I stayed for about twenty minutes chatting to some of the people in there and found out exactly what happened with regards to the theft of our donations.
The shop itself was not broken in to from the front, but they broke in from upstairs and via another building.
They stole a computer and all the cash on the premesis.
The computer and all the information on it has since been found.
But the money is still missing.
They are no longer keeping as much cash on the premesis from now on due to this utterly sick and degrading human? act.
They asked me if I could draw attention to the campaign in any way on the internet that I had their blessing, so here goes...
If you feel strongly about it, contact them and join the campaign by registering your support as a member.
Write to..
The Hillsborough Justice Campaign
134 Oakfield Road,
Liverpool
L4 0UQ
If you enclose a postal order or cheque made payable to \"The Hillsborough Justice Campaign\" for £2, they will send you a membership card in return.
Send another £2 if you want to buy a badge as well. Wear it wherever you go and it will draw attention to the campaign.
Include a self addressed envelope so they can send you the membership card and/or badge.
One of the men in there lost his son at Hillsborough.
He said a lot of people broke down in tears when they walked in to the shop.
He wondered how anyone could be so sick as to rob a charity. An a charity is what it is.
All money recieved is not for the purposes of profit, but to go towards future legal actions to eventually find truth and justice.
There are meetings every Monday night if any of you living nearby can attend, please do.
Phone them on 01512605262 for any further information or if you want to buy anything else.
You can buy Tshirts, car stickers, sweatshirts, badges etc.
Make a donation if you will, but if nothing else, just send them £2 for a badge. It\'s a nice looking metal pin badge [ about the size of a 2p piece] in yellow with the eternal flame on it in black and red and the words \"hillsborough Justice Campaign\" around it.
Where it with pride wherever you go to draw attention to the plight.
I\'m sure £2 is nothing to you, but to the families, your tiny gesture of support will mean the world.
Keep the fight going, send off for a badge.
Don\'t just read this, it\'s only £2, go out and do it.
BY WEARING IT YOU WILL EDUCATE, BY BUYING IT YOU WILL HELP.
JFT 96
YNWA
REEVES

[This message has been edited by REEVES (edited 16 April 2002).]

Le Boss,
Very generous of you. There are a lot of people on here who won\'t be able to afford such an amount though.
By keeping it to £2 it\'s more reasonable an amount for people so more people will hopefully donate.
Don\'t just read this people, send off for your badge now. What\'s £2 to you??
BY WEARING IT YOU WILL EDUCATE, BY BUYING IT YOU WILL HELP.
JFT 96
If ALL of you buy a badge, just think of how much money we can get for them?
If ALL of you wear a badge, just think how much awareness we can create?
Lets get everyone on this board to buy a badge.

Yeah sure LFCjim, good idea.
Sorry, I missed your post above, was just trying to get another one bought.
Just copy some of the details above if you want. Or I\'ll write something later if you would rather? Whats your web address mate?

REEVES
16-4-02, 20:54
Biddy,
An international money order??
Sometimes costs a lot to buy though doesn\'t it?
I\'ve bought things in Canada through the post before. [A liverpool programme actually!] and the post was fine.
You could buy pounds out there and just send them? It\'s only £2 if you lose it after all, and you shouldn\'t.

If you send me all your details and money, I will go and register you and get you whatever you want if that makes it any easier for you. Let me know if I can help at all? Obviously I\'ll do it for free and rest assured I would do it all in good faith.

16-4-02, 21:04
Mantymant...can you ask your folks? DO you have an older brother/sister? You can give them the money and ask them to write a cheque for you...

REEVES
16-4-02, 22:16
Mantymant,
Either send cash, or go in to your nearest post office and ask for a \"postal order\" to the amount of £2. It will cost you just over £2 I think, but it\'s a readily acceptable form of payment as an alternative to cash or cheque.
The recipiant can then cash it.
Hope that helps you mate.

FAO LFCjim and SamDoddsRed,
Sounds weird, but writing on demand [especially for such a sensitive issue] is always a lot harder.
I\'ve tried writing this for you both, I hope it\'s big/small enough and you will find it useful?
Regards to you both,
Reeves
JUSTICE FOR THE 96
HILLSBOROUGH, APRIL 15th 1989
96 Liverpool Supporters crushed to death in torturous circumstances and 13 years on, still no criminal liability found and minimal compensation awarded.
All is not lost however and the fight for TRUTH and JUSTICE continues.
Please show your support for the families of the 96 victims who still intend to bring further legal action, by registering as a member of the campaign.
By sending only £2 to the below address and including your details [name/address] and a self addressed envelope, you will become a registered member of the campaign, keep up to date with events and receive confirmation of your membership in the post.
By including a further £2, you can purchase an eternal flame pin badge made from metal. The badge is yellow and has a red flame with the words “Hillsborough Justice Campaign” around it and the words JUSTICE and 96 in the middle of the flame.
The badge in itself is small, but what it represents is not.
Other JFT 96 items are available such as T shirts, Car stickers, Sweatshirts etc.
Please call the below number for more information.
All your money will go towards fighting to finally get the Truth and Justice that the 96 and their families so richly deserve.
All cheques to be made payable to The Hillsborough Justice Campaign. Cash and postal orders/International money orders accepted.
Any donations will be VERY gratefully appreciated.
May I thank you in advance for your kindness.
May those 96 rest in peace in the Kop in the sky.
Reeves
THE HILLSBOROUGH JUSTICE CAMPAIGN
134 Oakfield Road
Liverpool
L4 0UQ
Tel/ 01512605262

scorpva17,
Best thing to do is phone the below number if you want any more information.
Your living in Greece should be no problem.
Just send a tiny bit extra money so that it covers the added postage cost.
With regards to membership, your nationality is no hinderance. The wider the word is spread the better.
Just make sure your address is included and thet you send enough money to cover the cost of posting whatever it is you buy back to you.
Regards,
Reeves
