Newcastle fans are passionate ones, although they don't have the will power to oust their ***** of an owner. :scarf

Leeds and Man City.

Backed their clubs through thick and thin. City fans have brilliant sense of humour and Leeds fans are as loyal as you can get. They've dug their way back to challenging for premiership return from two divs down.

I've a lot of respect for Portsmouth fans.

I did have a lot of respect for Celtic fans but after this (http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/celtic/2010/11/09/celtic-vow-lifetime-bans-for-fans-behind-anti-poppy-banner-86908-22703218/) I lost that respect for them. It's a shame as my dad was one.

I mainly have more respect though for those who support the lower league clubs and travel up and down the country to support them.

I have the highest respect for all those fans that continue to support there team no matter what lower division they are in. For example my friend goes to every York City game and continues even though they dropped out into the non-league/conf divisions. I often wonder how many of our fans would show the same loyalty. Although in my case I started when Liverpool were in 2nd Division and hence have only known good times in the main. Thus my respect is even higher for those fans supporting teams that go in opposite direction.

Any from lower league teams.

I feel sorry for the real City fans. Their club is becoming something it is not and all it's traditions are thrown out of the window. And they are invaded by loads of mindless ex-chelsea supporters.

And the worst part is that, after a couple of years of success, the owner will find a new toy to play with and City will sink, unable to maintain its wage bill. And they know this.

I would hate for LFC to become the throwaway toy of a Sheikh.

I totally respect anyone who knows what they are talking about, and have true passion about their team. It is just fate that the majority of clueless bells flock over to the 'glory' teams.

Well said. Totally agree. Have no respect for fans of smaller clubs (Everton), who also support Scum!! You can't be a loyal fan of your team, if you support another team in the same league.

Like all foreigners who don't even know about the sport of Football all support Manchester United, as does all the muppets in London and Wales.

Brechin City...hard core of about 165 or so. Freezin' up there most of the time.

Also my brother-in-law...came over from N.Ireland for about 6 years to see Wolves play Liverpool amounst others...he didn't see them score the whole time...poor kid...then came over...went down to Molineux...first game of the season...few years back now and they finally scored...beat LFC...1-0...after the game I told him they would get relegated...and they did.

Also Everton fans...must be like being married to some old dragon...

I might get slaughtered on here by some, but Everton.

I dont have to work with them and all that but in testing times for the city outside of football they seem like a good lot.

Villa fans are dreadful. Never get behind their manager - always boo their own players (2-2 at Emirates).

They're shockers.

Everton are a quality group of fans.

They back their team through thick and thin but as usual there is always going to be some whopper on here who has no friends or family who support Everton and will assume to hate them because they're our rivals when in reality they don't knwo much about Everton.

The Newcastle fans, they turn out in their thousands home and away, they haven't had success for years, and at the moment their club is being run by a clown called mike ashley who is selling all of their best players. but they will still support the club they love and sing with humour and travel hundreds of miles in the rain and the snow to watch their team and hope that things get better, thats what real fans are.

If we are going to give credit. Man Yoo had the highest average attendance in the country in division 2, when they went down.
I know they have a lot of glory hunters, but they have a lot of good supporters too.

Cant agree with Leeds. I remember their first league game in 2007. Home to Millwall and Elland Road was half empty, thats only 4 years ago. Their attendence plummitted when they were in the lower leagues and has only recently picked up.
Newcastle have great fans. I was at a game at Anfield we beat them 3 0, Owen hat trick and their fans outsung us for almost the entire game and that takes some doing.

Stoke, and Portsmouth. Particularly the Portsmouth fan who rang the bell all game, they must have a bicep similar to Arnie's in size after a season of doing that.
