He'll be lost in the shuffle of the Nexus/Cena storyline, which is obviously going to involve Orton and the world title over the next month or so.

At least on Smackdown there was a chance of a decent storyline popping up for him.
On Raw who is he going to feud with? He should be in the world title picture either on Raw or Smackdown, but on Raw it will be between Orton, Cena and Barrett.
Oh he'll definitely be a mid carder, but at least he's in a position where they MIGHT push him if things carry on as they are.
Plus we should get at least one CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan match.
He could feud with Daniel Bryan for the US Title.

Thats the problem, he shouldnt be a mid carder, he should be the top guy on smackdown leading it and elevating other talents. He's perfect to be the top guy on smackdown.
The only bonus is that we might see a good feud between Punk and Byran for the US title which would be good.
I'm fine with it as long as they make sure that one of them gets squashed by someone with half the talent every couple of weeks.

So Edge was traded in for CM Punk. I dont know what the WWE have against Punk. He could easily be one of their best heels atm. Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk would be ace. It might gain the US title some more publicity as well which is a positive.
If Punk doesn't lose to Mark Henry once a month then I'm boycotting the WWE.
I've given up hope of them ever pushing him seriously. Sure he gets over, sure he performs on every PPV, but does he have lots of muscles?

They put him in a stable with Raven, the man he was feuding with in ROH, and eventually released him after they couldn't see what they could do with him.
TNA is the last place I want him to go.
