Hmmm. There was a huge backstage blow-up involving Brock Lesnar following Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules PPV, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.
Several sources stated that Lesnar lost it on a number of WWE officials and started to rip apart the dressing room. He was apparently upset over the John Cena promo that ended the pay-per-view.
Reports claim that the original plan was for Cena to be so beaten that he would have to be carried out of the building, despite winning the match. This would of left it open for Lesnar to brag that while he had lost the match by fluke, he won the war.
Lesnar perceived Cena as double crossing him when Cena decided to address the audience, Lesnar then flipped out on WWE officials. No word on how Lesnar calmed down, but the angle on Raw featuring Triple H’s return was planned in advance as a way to remove Lesnar from WWE television.
The wrong reaction, obviously, but I can understand him being ********** off at that.
Also, Triple H vs Lesnar for Mania?
Big Johnny's awesome!
Just look at the guys on the roster and you can see a few that stand out as going no where fast.
Red = Possible future endeavoured
Green = Short term deals
Blue = Key members of the roster that do not need to be in the title hunt to be main eventers.
Orange = Current main eventers for the title(s)
Alex Riley Perfect candidate for Future endeavoured.
Brock Lesnar - Short term deal I'd be shocked if he is still with the company this time next year.
Brodus Clary - Mid carder, entertaining but never going to a main eventer
Chris Jericho - Short term deal will be gone again soon
CM Punk - The man the best they have right now and will be around for as long as he wants to be.
David Otunga - Mid Carder at best
Dolf Ziggler - Has potential but right now is a tag teamer/midcarder
The Rock Another shot term deal
Epico - Tag teamer will never be more than that
Jack Swagger Good midcarder but I doubt he'll be anything more
John Cena - The blue chipper the face of the company and the man that has proved he doesnt need to be in the title scene.
JTG - How does he still have a job? Will be future endeavoured.
Kane Wont be around much longer and is happy in the midcard
Kofi Kingston - Good midcarder but I doubt he'll be anything more
Lord tensai - Good midcarder but I doubt he'll be anything more
Mason Ryan - Same as JTG I see him being future endeavoured soon enough
Michael McGillicutty - Has great potential but I dont see a future in WWE for him sadly, will be future endeavoured
The Miz - Great MId Carder, Great tag teamer and has proved he can be in the main event
Primo - Tag teamer will never be more than that
Rey mysterio - I think he is on the way out has been injured a lot and I can see WWE getting fed up with him
R-Truth - Good midcarder but I doubt he'll be anything more
Santino Marella - Comedy gold and will be kept around for that reason only.
Zack Ryder - Has lost a lot of momentum and I think he could be future endeavoured in the not too distant future.
Del Rio - Has a bright future in WWE I think
Antonio Cesaro - new so will reserve judgement on his future
Big Show Same as Kane Wont be around much longer and is happy in the midcard
Camacho - I dont think he has a future at all
Christian - Similar to Kane and Big show, been around a while floats in and out of the midcard I think he'll be around longer than Kane and Big show.
Cody Rhodes - Bright future, very bright future could one day be a world champion.
Damien Sandow new so will reserve judgement on his future
Daniel Bryan - Going the same path as CM Punk, is making himself a star and WWE need him to be a star.
Darren Young - Prime candidate for a future endeavour
Drew McIntyre - I had high hopes for this guy but I think he'll be future endeavoured soon enough.
Ezekiel Jackson - Offers nothing and I hope he is shown the door soon enough.
The Great Khali - Always on short runs, adds nothing and I'd prefer to see him future endeavoured but he's a PR card for India.
Hunico - I dont think he has a future at all
Heath Slater - WWE seem high on him and are pushing this thing with flo rida, so I guess he's safe for a while longer.
Hornswoggle - Floats around well is not a serious star but has a role to play
Jimmy & Jay Uso - If kept as a tag team they have a future if not then they'll be gone, WWE dont seem high on them so I am guessing they'll be future endeavoured soon.
Jindar Mahall - I hope he's future endeavoured soon he offers nothing
Justin Gabriel - I am a big fan of this guy and I would like to see him fully recover and have a good run in the midcard
Mark Henry - Has been with the company a long time but not too long ago he was disgruntled so I wouldnt be too surprised to see him leave.
Randy Orton Same as Cena
Ryback - Has potential but I doubt he'll ever be a main eventer
Sheamus - Main eventer all day long
Sin Cara - either future endeavoured or repackaged but he hasnt worked out at all
Ted Dibiase - Has no future sadly.
Titus O'Neil - Who?
Trent Barreta Been around for a while and seems to be going nowhere fast.
Tyson Kidd Been around for a while and seems to be going nowhere fast.
Undertaker Once a year performer doesnt take up a real spot on the roster.
Wade Barrett - Could have a good future ahead of him
Yoshi Tatsu - Been around for a while and seems to be going nowhere fast.
^^^ I must be the only person who likes Alex Riley.
As for the unification of the shows and titles, ive been saying that i want it done for ages now. Its the right thing to do. Itll enable the WWE to build up a GOOD mid card as well as main event. People were saying that there are too many wrestlers in the roster, i disagree. There are only a few wrestlers that are good enough for the main event. And in unifying the brands, it enables the WWE to work on what is a poor mid card. Titles like the US title and the IC title are no longer seen as truly decent titles. In the past you used to have some amazing matches for the IC title. Matches like HBK vs Razor Ramon at WM. The title meant something. Now matches for both the championships happen as pre-show dark matches or are given some time in a PPV even though very few people are interested in the ongoing feuds. To merge the brands would mean that more 'main eventers' stay out of the main event picture for a while which will enable them to compete for the IC and US titles meanwhile. For example while you have Bryan and Punk feud for the main title, you could have Sheamus vs Orton for the IC title and Cena vs Del Rio for the US title. These are obviously only examples but you get the point ! Joining the brands would deffo breed good results imho.
So is Brock Lesnar not going to be around much longer...
I can understand Brock's reaction.
He'd just beaten the hell outta him for about 15 minutes, get's hit with a chain and AA for the 3 in the space of a minute. While he heads off to the back, Cena is in the ring not selling the 15 minute brutal beating he'd just had. Told lies about going away, then walked to the back.
Cena winning makes no sense at all and now Brock is gone for a few months.
That HHH match will happen and needs to happen. With Brock going over this time.
As seen on RAW last night, WWE temporarily wrote Brock Lesnar out of the storylines by having his contract status "up in the air" following the attack on Triple H in the opener. WWE's announcers stressed that Lesnar's future is in doubt with the company. WWE only has Lesnar for several dates per month and will have to come up with creative ways to keep him in and out of the storylines.
We noted earlier that Brock Lesnar had a meltdown backstage after his loss to John Cena at Extreme Rules. Lesnar was upset about Cena's post-match promo because the original plan had Cena getting stretchered out. Lesnar felt that he was made to look weak and WWE officials double crossed him.
F4Wonline.com reports that WWE's new mentality with Lesnar is that they're paying a lot of money for a guy who is not their top guy, so he should be used when he can to put over their top talents. People in Lesnar's camp were feeling like WWE was just testing Lesnar by having Cena cut the post-match speech.
Brock was told before the Extreme Rules match that Cena would go out on a stretcher and look totally incapacitated and be injured. Lesnar went nuts backstage in front of everyone, tearing things up and throwing a tantrum. Lesnar specifically yelled at Marc Carano, the assistant to John Laurinaitis, about how things are a mess and everything is wrong in WWE. Some felt that part of the tantrum was just an act by Lesnar to show to the locker room that he could quit at any minute. Some of those same people felt that WWE officials could have been involved in Lesnar trying to work the other talents.
Lesnar also suggested that Cena intentionally pulled down the top rope at Extreme Rules, causing him to nearly blow out his knee in the bad spot towards the end of the match where they both tumbled over to the floor. Again, most believe that there is no real heat between Cena and Lesnar over this and this also could have been part of an act by Lesnar.
Despite what's an act and what's part of the TV storylines, sources insist that Lesnar's status and future with WWE is a sticky situation. While Lesnar vs. Triple H is in the works for SummerSlam, some in the company are already predicting that he will end up working the remaining big pay-per-view events of 2012, Royal Rumble 2013 and then WrestleMania 29 before being done with the company.
Basically WWE are playing on this drama.
Brock will face HHH at Summerslam, while that should be good it's not where I saw this going.
I thought he was going to dominate the WWE and the man event.
Looks like Johnny want's to dominate the main event and take out Cena himself.....
Bella twins fired by Eve, so insignificant they don't even get fired live on Raw.
Daniel Bryan loses yet another match against Sheamus.
Considering he is set to face Punk at over the limit I guess they are keeping him in the picture with Sheamus for a unification match at Summerslam....
Fingers crossed anyway.
Hulk Hogan said a few days ago that he had an idea that was going to revolutionise wrestling. His full quote is below:
Well, his idea has actually been revealed, so I guess the main question is, are you ready to hear it?"You can have a wrestling idea, but you need to have these momentum-shifting moves. We had the Hulkamania movement, then it shifted to the beer-drinking, Stone Cold era, we reinvented the business with [Hogan] growing the black beard and becoming the bad guy, what's that next level. I have this huge monster idea that I am going to throw out there that I really think is going to change the business. We are going to give more power to the fans, make them more involved and more important. I can't say much more, but I can say this, I'm either going to be really right on this one or really wrong. If I'm wrong, you probably won't see me again because I'll be hightailing it out of here."
His idea is ....
Wait for it ....
To film TNA wrestlers anytime they are seen in public, and send it to TNA to be used on television.
i hope bork laser come back soon
I hate Brock's new style of wrestling, someone need to break it to him gently that he's no longer in MMA.
I want to see him throw guy's across the ring again with that awesome belly to belly throw he used to do. Not those stupid ground and pound moves he's been doing.
