We got a raft race down the river from where we live the weekend after easter. Its a ****** hilarious day out. My Mrs won the womens pie eating and wine sculling comp. last year so she's got a title to defend.
Its actually on the Sunday (down here) that we play the Bitters in the semi, and I was planning to go to town to see the match, so not sure what condition I'll be in that day. Esp. if we win!

And sadly you're right.
The board probably wanted a complete break from Houlliers philosophy and Thommo was probably seen as part of that. Fowler paints a pretty bad picture of him in his book and makes him out to be a ****** but this current squad needs the hairdryer treatment and no better man to do that than Thommo.
