If you budget for about £10 - £12 per letter,thats how much it is around where i live.

Depends where you go. If its a quality shop though it should be expensive. My artists charge £80 an hour. I expect what your getting to be about an hour maybe a bit more depending on how big it is and if your getting it bold and filled or just plain writing. Also you need to take the style of writing into account.
You should be looking at around £80 to £140.
My tatooist,one eyed dave ,would charge £50.His prices have halfed since he developed the nervous twitch.Bargin!!

To the OP - as others have said it all depends on size, time spent and how good the place is. There is a cheap place near me that I only know one person who has been brave enough to use and they got his daughter's date of birth wrong, putting a two instead of a five or vice versa

My mrs' mate got her name in chinese tatooed on her shoulder.
After a night out she went to the Chinese Chippy. She noticed the chinese guys in the chippy giving her funny looks and sniggering!
Obviously after a few beers she started with the "what the **** you laughing at"
