Will any pieces that comment on the current ownership and it's effects be included Matt? Not being argumentative, I'm just imagining that there's be no scope for that sort of thing on the official site.
Probably not, be more likely to be something related to the football itself but we're not at that stage yet anyway. The first step is to get people writing.
This is something I am very interested in doing. Potentially as a future career also so it could prove a very useful plaform for me.

I don't reckon you'll have any trouble getting people to write, it's a really good addition imo.

I'm not sure I should bore people with results of all games, anyone who has that much interest in Brazil football, can find all the statistics on the web
I Thought more along the lines of latest news and gossip, as reported here.

The on-going saga of Bruno, the Flamengo goalkeeper, currently being held in prison, awaiting trial for the alleged kidnap, torture, and murder of his ex lover, and mother of his son.
The effect on Flamengo of this and Wagner Love, and Adriano leaving, also charges made against them relating to alleged drug trafficing.
How Zico and new Manager Silas, are trying to re-build the team.
Not just Flamengo, but this type of news re various teams, more "off the field" than "on it".
Also news re the National squad, the changes being made by the new Manager Mano Menezez, (looks like Lucas will get a good chance)and preparations for the 2014 world cup. Which includes, stadium re-fits, the crackdown on hooliganism and crime. To make it safer for people to attend.
Most of this will be in short pieces. People can ask questions for further news.
Is that what you had in mind, or do you have different ideas. And it's not set in stone, it will change with the times.
Whilst I will reply to any posts/questions, I would ask people to remember we are four hours behind UK time, sometimes I don't get on the site till late at night, so look for your answer the next morning.

Finally had a look through here, and must say what a great idea this is.
I look forward to reading some of the more practical posting within these forums. Whether it be constructive match reports, analysis or thoughts on players etc. There are a lot of fantastic posters on these forums, and I find it hard to keep up with all their thoughts as you have to search through so much drivel in the general Football Discussions.
TBH, I've gotten so bored with it all I started spending/wasting time in G & C.Thats not a bad thing, and while it can be a lot of fun over there, I really joined the EST thing to be able to read/share my football thoughts with others. I was a lurker for about 9 months before I finally did my first post, because I had to take it all in as to what it was all about on these forums. Overall, I found that the more knowledgable and thoughful posts (ers) were grabbing my attention. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some of the fun stuff around here, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, it should be the football (namely that of LFC) that we are all here for.
Anyway, enough confusing blather from me. I will keep tabs in this forum in the hope of some real constructive discussion.

I don't know what the topic will be about, i don't even know whether it'll be a masterpiece and or just of a complete and utter mess that doesn't even make sense(it'll most probably be the latter knowing me

I know, but there is a big difference between things only getting in here if the mods move it from other forums, to invisibly posting here untill a mod approve it... that last part I hadn't read before I posted in another forum.

a) Copy it here and if it's worth reading then it would get mod approval but the thread would exist in both forums
or
b) Place a request in the thread in WF (for genreal merging/deletion requests) with a link to the thread in question, for it to be moved/copied.
There are no guarantees with either that it would get approved but if the general reaction to your thread promotes some interested discussion or if one of us (or Matt) feels it is worth moving here then it may well happen.
The general idea behind this board is quality not quantity. The more unique or unusual the topic (barring match reports) the more likely it is to get moved here.
