There's lots of interesting threads elsewhere in both the subscription and free areas of the message boards. However sometimes the good stuff can be hard to find because the boards get busy and good material drops off the front page.

We've created this area as a place where the best posts and supporter articles can get some exposure without dropping away too quickly. It's a board where budding writers can practice their craft. Where match reports can be compared and commented on. Where users across the world can give a flavour of football in their own country and how the Reds are perceived and supported there.

If good articles emerge there's a chance they'll be covered on the main Liverpool website, one of the busiest sporting websites in the world. They may also get a mention on LFC's Social Media channels. We're also on the lookout for fans who may be able to write fan articles in the new fan areas of the site we're developing. So if you've ambitions in sportswriting or just want some more exposure for your literaty skills then consider submitting an article for this board.

To avoid this forum becoming a simple duplicate of the existing boards there's a couple of differences. Users can comment but non Moderators cannot create threads in this area. Instead posts and threads from other boards can be moved or copied here if they're considered of high quality.

Also we don't only want great starting posts. This forum should reflect the best of Liverpool FC. We want intelligent, well thought out responses which respect the effort the original writer has put in. If users persist in posting rude or poor quality responses in this forum they will lose the right to post here. The standards by which we'll moderate this forum will be tougher than the rest of the boards, so please consider your posts here carefully.

To kick things off the moderating staff have moved a few threads into here which they particularly like. If you have others you'd like to suggest let us know. It's a great place to preserve the best of the past but the real challenge is in creating the great fan writing of the future.

There's a football team with a history that's second to none to write about. Players like Torres, Gerrard, Carragher and Reina to report on and critique. A new manager, a challenging league environment, a passionate fanbase and all the ups and downs that go with following a season with Liverpool FC. Whether you're an Anfield regular or watching from afar if you want to share your love of football and LFC with the wider supporter community this board is for you. It's a bit empty but the matches are coming thick and fast. What are you waiting for?
    Thanks for the info

The best thing about this new Forum is the EST members can now interact with the members who dont have EST membership so this forum can work as a bridge as I always wanted to interact with FOWI but the problem is I am not a EST member so cant post there and the good thing is only quality post will be allowed here so before starting your thread you have to think long and hard before starting it so Quality will improve than Quantity.

I've asked for writers in the feedback thread: http://forums.liverpoolfc.tv/showthread.php?t=191997 and it could be that we'll eventually give those who are contributing regular match reports the ability to start new threads here themselves. - They'll become 'Writers' in effect, a new user group.

We're moving towards bringing more fan content onto the main LFC website and whilst this board should be good for the forum it will also serve as a halfway house to getting LFC fans writing onto the main site as fan articles. That's the objective.
Hoping this'll work, as I've never posted before. Anyways, a question which someone might be able to help with??

I'm an oot'er who has tickets for the Arsenal match in March. Am I right in thinking that this game has to be on the Saturday 3rd of March as Arsenal are at home to AC Milan on Tuesday 6th March in the Champions League?? All help appreciated for booking flights & accomodation.

    Cheers.

Hi Alex, welcome to the forum.

Fans are not allowed to arrange tickets via these forums, the 'Tickets' button on the main club website gives you the ways of buying tickets.

    http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets

It is a good idea to join the membership scheme. It is different for every game and the more popular games are very difficult to get tickets for if you have not been before.

I will move this into the main football forum where other fans may be able to give you advice,

    Here .... http://forums.liverpoolfc.tv/threads...y-overseas-fan

though you cannot buy and sell them through here. Good luck!

Not to go off topic, but I am visiting my ancestral home of Liverpool 22-24 for the first time in my life. We all know what happens on September 23, and I expect it to be one of the most amazing days I ever experience in my entire life. I have my flight booked but still need lodging and a ticket.

Does anyone have any website recommendations or routes for me to pursue one of these said tickets? Iss there a group I could email to get a fan seat in the Kop? I'm ready to pay what I have to pay, but I can barely afford the trip and was hoping this forum would have advice for me. Thanks to all that respond, love to all that support the greatest club on earth.

    YNWA

    gj ms da je

    LS FB Assaidi

Downing absolutely killed us last week. Assaidi up front would be interesting to see. I'd refer a front line of sterling, borini, suarez, to Stewart downing too.

By september 1st, our lineup will look different

    PR
GJ MS DA JE........MK in Reserve
    LL Sahin.........JA in reserve
    SG
    LS FB Dempsey......Assaidi in reserve

I'd bet anything, but the ticket I hope one of you can direct me too, that we use those 14 players start the overwhelming majority of our big game and league matches this year. Top 4 team without a doubt. Replace Sahin with Alonso next summer, add a striker and some defense, and we will be competing for everything. A Golden Sky is on the horizon.

Not sure which blog I need to go on, but, very moving tribute today credit to your club, I am a bolton fan who attended Sheffield match yesterday, One of our fans celebrated our second goal and fell from the second tier from the leppings lane end, shocked to hear from a Sheffield fan they don't yet have a safety policy, hope its not true,

[QUOTE=Matt-CM;3971360]Welcome to our newest discussion board and something of an experiment for the Official Liverpool FC Forums.

A big thank you to all Lfc fans, we recently lost my father in-law to lung cancer he was a big Lfc fan although he was a Londoner he followed Lfc all his life & we had plenty of banter including him buying me the video of the 9-1 defeat to you guy's (im a palace fan). Whenever i have travelled to Anfield i have always had a great reception & when you sing never walk alone it makes the hairs stand on the back of my neck. You'll never walk alone was played at his funeral and it brought out so much emotion it will be memorable till the day i pass. We had so many good messages of support from Fans of Lfc i would just like to thank you all. I can only support one club but i will always wish you guy's the best and i can only pray cpfc get promotion so i can travel up and enjoy the atmosphere which is Anfield,
2nd to none! Thank you all for being true and great fans, i wish you every success.
