I was thinking of watching Santos, there are just way to many choices to pick from. I need 5 TVs.

Yeah, I live in the good Ol' U S of A! The only time times become a problem is if the games are in Asia. Even the big games against Man U, Everton, Arsenal, etc are at 7:45 am my time which is not too bad.

    Neymar 2 - 0 Inter (60 minutes now)

Never get tired of see him play, amazing talent, defense breaker, team player, take a look at both goals, a great penalty move and shoot, and a "messianic" 2nd gol, full speed cutting defense thru midfield, a beast. THE PLAYER needed to build a dinasty, worths break the bank for him.

Welcome to Neymar's show, 3-1 Santos, another goal from the beast, cutting thru 2 defenses on midfield, burning 'em with his race to goal and scoring with a chip shot, amazing. As we say here: "con Neymar está robado".

Its awesome to see this thread rocking as it is !!!

HT and its still 1-0 Fluminense but Boca have been knocking at the door the last 10 mins - that Riquelme has still got it !!! A very good match with some outstanding play from both sides ! It was a master stroke from Fluminense to bring Thiago Neves over in January. Fred looks even more dangerous alongside him and it was Fred's header that put Flu ahead - Deco's FK. Santiago "The Tank" Silva is back after a half-season at Fiorentina and almost scored the equalizer for Boca.

I missed the Neymar show because Fox Deportes didn't cover the game live tonight ! Santos looks like they will remain a factor in this year's competition after their shock 2-1 loss to Bolivia's "The Strongest" who in all reality weren't considered so by most.

By the way quick mention of a player from last night who has shined on multiple occasions for UChile - their 28 year old DMF Albert Acevodo. Every time I see him, he exudes confidence and his tackling, vision and passing stands out, even on one of the best teams in South America.

Is there any news on any Neymar transfer? Have City made any sounds? Madrid? Milan?

Boca lost 2-1 even though I thought they were the better team. Kind of like Liverpool vs Arsenal.

He's been playing on a great shape and it's a natural finisher, very confident in front of goal.

Yowa mate ... you're in Uni now .. right ? I was going to say .. even by my DVR intense standards .. you watch a TON of footy !
Speaking of watching footy .. Flamengo last night barely eked out a home win against Emelec who were playing most of the 2nd half with 10 men. The assist from Ronaldinho for Vagner Love's goal was a moment of beauty but R10 hasn't been nearly as impressive this year after his Revival show in 2011.

Maripacha .. nice shout for Dorlan Pabon. Atl Nacional play some free-flowing football thats easy on the eyes and both Pabon and the team have really been the revelations of the tournament so far; especially their destruction of Penarol and the big win vs UChile. It was a day later but I watched extended highlights (about 30 mins) of the Deportivo Quito vs Velez Sarsfield game - Quito's #17 RM Juan Carlos Paredes was outstanding. He harried the Velez defenders all night and showed some lovely touch and turns cutting in.

I wonder if there's any hope of us picking up any of these up and comers. Probably slim to none ?

    HT Racing v Nacional = 0-0.

Yeah I am in Uni. I have classes from 10-3:45 Monday-Wednesday-Friday and my last class is intro to tech so I am on a computer then as well. So I can watch most games. You are lucky and can watch them on TV, I watch every game on my laptop.

Racing 1- 0 Nacional, very disappointing. Did not see the red card but it looked to be very soft from a few replays.

Yowa ... not so lucky these days mate ... there's a little thing called the job...

A rainy Saturday here in Austin so we're watching the normally epic Cruz Azul - Chivas game on TV. This season of course, neither team is doing particularly well, Chivas just recently got out of the Primera basement. But still - at HT its 1-0 to the Blue Crosses. Erick Torres and Marco Fabian have been ill-used since the start of the season but at least are doing better in Chivas' 2-game winning streak.

Edit : FT and just as the game was headed for a 1-1 draw from an 88th minute Erick Torres equalizer, he is "brought down" (dived imho - I saw no contact) in the Cruz penalty box in 94th minute and Cruz's star CB, Nestor Araujo is shown a 2nd yellow/red. Ensuing penalty is converted and Chivas keeps alive their winning streak ! The controversial end could have gotten much worse and even degenerated into fisticuffs if Cruz's volatile midfielder Cristian Gimenez was allowed to argue or more with the Chivas players at the end of the game.

Gotta love the Mexican Primera ..mostly full and loud fans and lots of drums and singing. On the pitch the quality can certainly vary from utter crap to top notch. And unpredictable discipline just adds to the drama.

Watched Pachuca vs San Luis aka "why would I watch this if not for Marco Bueno". FYI - Marco played a lovely game - no goals but very good effort and looked threatening in attack - good pace and mix of heading and passing skills. Didn't get much of a chance to unveil his shooting skills tonight (think he had 2 shots and a header on target). Just got subbed out.

Jadson ... Lucas Moura,... Casimiro. SPFC would be a nice feeder club for LFC - if we actually had someone in Brazil. I sometimes wonder if us getting Lucas was a humongous lucky break; destined never to be repeated.

Yeah they played good today. Lucas got an assist as well. I rally do wish we could get a connection in Brasil somewhere.

Couldn't watch the game as I couldn't find a stream

Watched the Botafago match instead but it wasn't the greatest of spectacles I must say.

Independiente just scored again..3-1 after 32 mins!

The defense just switched off completely for that free kick and that was a virtually free header..even our non scoring strikers couldn't have missed that gift

Edit: Boca pull one back just at the stroke of half time through Riquelme..the man has still got it..lovely touch to bring the ball down in the box and slip it past the on rushing keeper.
