do we sell or turn it down?
i'd sell because i think he doesnt do it often enough for me. he obviously is not happy and maybe wants to go anyway. it's all very well having the so called best striker in the world, but if he only plays his best twice a season we might as well get rid.

I was the happiest fan around when he come out and said he was staying in the summer I thought he would of been on fire going into this season after spain won the world cup. But personally i would sell him after seeing all his performances this season, the only one he looked half interested in was the chelsea game and that was probably because he wanted to show ancelotti that he is actually world class so chelsea make another bid for him.
Great support after all he's done for us...he's just **** under Hodgson and his tactics are clearly depressing him (and every player).

If Man City offered us Adam Johnson, Micah Richards and Adebayor for Torres right now, I might do it... (that addresses our needs on the wing, LB/CB and we get a decent striker in return without having to spend a penny of our transfer budget.) Then I'd go out and get someone like Suarez or Dzeko to partner him up front. So for only 25-30m (the transfer fee for Suarez or Dzeko), we would have shored up 3 key positions with quality/world class players!

We have a world class striker. If we sell him we would then need 2 class strikers plus wide men.
Would be a rash sale for no gain. He is proven in the Prem 2 seasons running. Even last season he was not at his best but still managaed to bang a few away. OK this has been bad season but I am shocked that people would try and cash in on him.
the guy is the last to blame about anything,any striker couldn't do anything with the way our midfield is playing,he barely touches the ball in the 90 min..i honestly think the only thing that roy can try now to shake things up is to give a chance to the guys on the bench...i think having babel and torres up front with joe cole and maxi on the wings with gerrard and raul meireles in the heart of the midfield at least against the weeker teams would bring the best out of torres...come on torres lets do this...it hurts to see our hero is going down without a battle...

Might as well sell Stevie, might as well sell the whole squad if you look at this season's performance! I agree Torres has been a shadow of himself, but can you honestly say that the other players were better? The whole squad is playing badly and until we come to a real turnaround this won't change and neither will Torres.
The only reason you are willing to let him go is because you think we can get better players. Do you think if we could swap him for let's say Ibrahimovic, he would do better? He wouldn't and he would be as complacent as Torres every game and with this management it's no wonder.
So stop bashing him and crushing the little confidence and morale the squad has in itself.

Personally I think he'll be off in the summer unless he can be persuaded to stay, and that's probably only going to happen with a change of manager and an upturn in fortunes on the pitch, two things which may go hand in hand.
The same can probably be said of Agger.
