Administrators - I think all capacity management plans must now be revamped and new infrastructure investment is a must thanks to recent developments. The volume and load on the forums and the club's websites in general will continue to spike given the renewed interest and excitement about our club. This is probably the best kind of problem to have.

185K members and climbing !!! Time for some serious additional horsepower to drive the lfc.net sites.

i read in a similiar update months ago that a LFC Video (formerly e-season ticket) app for iPhone was to be realeased before the end of last year.
Is there any update on this?

As alot of people have said today our servers need upgrading as this forum is a joke after any games.

I saw someone post earlier today, would making the forums only viewable to members make the forums faster because there would be less people viewing them....

I have no idea if this would have any effect so excuse it if it's a stupid question.

With regards to the servers, I have passed this to IT to have a look at. There has been a lot more traffic to the site recently which will have had an impact.

I know this is wont happen but what about a deal where if you buy a few items from the Liverpool Store you get free shipping down under(Sydney).

Miro, I have had a response from the retail team, we ran a promotional weekend (Thursday 20th Jan to Tuesday 25th Jan) where if you ordered over £55 you got free postage. These are run every now and again, please keep checking the online store for further details of the next one.

Hi Micro, I have had a response with regards to LFC TV going HD:

LFC regularly assess the costs and benefits of a move to HD broadcasting. We do not currently have any scheduled plans to make this change although we are hoping to make some smaller changes in the near future that will improve the SD signal quality whilst still ensuring the channel remains free for our supporters in the UK.

Can LFC.TV actually SHOW our matches for subscribers? If you show highlights then you obviously have cameras to broadcast it , why keep us fans who dont have Sky and all these sports packages from missing our games? I know we have commentary but its not the same is it. Still keep the commentator cos i like him, but show the matches for subscribers like you did for the Bourrsia game in pre season.

Id be quite happy to pay more for my subscription if i could see our matches on here, and im sure everyone would agree!

^^ I agree, this needs addressing, even at a higher fee...it would be a massive draw. But I guess it's contractual with the prem league... So, how about a "short" delay of a few minutes. ie not live as such? Or make it available to sky subscribers only (thereby avoiding competition with Sky/prem league?) ...I know it ain't easy!

Also, just want to add my voice to the calls for an iPhone / iPad app that can enable us to play video from the site. I know the reasons, (flash / apple problems etc blah blah) but it needs sorting, pretty please

Hello Tim, are you able to give me a quick laymans terms regarding the server? for years it's been shocking when busy, can you explain what is involved in an upgrade please, the money generated from subscriptions should be focused on this primarily and not such things a the new Kop site.

Good Morning Tim and the team...

Have seen other people post about this and they are perfectly correct about the on-line store...It really is terrible[apart from kits etc]
It needs items[like t-shirts etc] that will cover a large age range...
eg....I watched the video in the Liverpool shop by the fans after our win against the Chavs....I spotted a tee shirt in the back ground and have contacted someone at home to send it to me.....I really do think that we are loosing a huge revenue through the on-line store because of the choice of items....especially the ladies range....some items have been on there for three years now...
