I said this was gonna be a draw but the Windies are looking well placed here.
Aussies in all sorts of trouble here, 329-9 and the Windies have a 120 lead.
The problem is it's day 4, they need to score quickly and get a lead of around 250/300 and try to bowl them out tomorrow.
Wow how the hell did that happen, Aussies are 406-9 dec. And Windies 4-2.....![]()
Wow what a remarkable **** up from the West Indies.
I reckon from here the Aussies will win, but if they can put up some resistance and sneak to 200+ they may well be able to save this and even win.
How is the pitch playing? Many cracks? I imagine it would be due to the amount of wickets.
The wicket is quite slow, and is starting to go up and down, but i can't see the Windies getting into a position to win this now. This afternoon they should've been looking at a lead of at least 150 and trying to set the aussies about 280-330 to win on the last day. I can't see them putting on enough runs, say a lead of 220-250, with the wickets they've got left, to really trouble Australia. A shame as they'd played some decent stuff this match.
Windies:fp:
So looks like the West indies have dug deep and scrounged a drawing position out of a winning position.
I do not fear this 3 match series coming up next month.
I don't know why it's a facepalm moment, I have said numerous times I only follow International cricket.
I don't find county cricket or IPL the least bit appealing.
So have never bothered finding out, only what I have been told.
