Aussies in all sorts of trouble here, 329-9 and the Windies have a 120 lead.

The problem is it's day 4, they need to score quickly and get a lead of around 250/300 and try to bowl them out tomorrow.

Yeah just saw, if this is how they stand up to pressure then they are gonna be smashed in England with the way our bowling attack is.

No prisoners, no let up. A superb bowling attack.

Hopefully Australia can keep up a decent run of form in tests and we'll be able to give you a run for your money in the next ashes .

Harris, Hilfenhaus & Lyon - 9, 10 & 11 - scored 132 runs! Windies now lead by 114 runs with just 5 wickets remaining. The aussies will roll them out quickly tomorrow no problem, and take a 1-0 lead.

Bang goes my prediction of a West Indian series win.

No thank you! I had twenty years of seeing total aussie domination in the Ashes, so i'd be perfectly happy to see Australia struggle for a wee bit longer yet, ideally, say about 10/15 years longer!

Wow what a remarkable **** up from the West Indies.

I reckon from here the Aussies will win, but if they can put up some resistance and sneak to 200+ they may well be able to save this and even win.

How is the pitch playing? Many cracks? I imagine it would be due to the amount of wickets.

The wicket is quite slow, and is starting to go up and down, but i can't see the Windies getting into a position to win this now. This afternoon they should've been looking at a lead of at least 150 and trying to set the aussies about 280-330 to win on the last day. I can't see them putting on enough runs, say a lead of 220-250, with the wickets they've got left, to really trouble Australia. A shame as they'd played some decent stuff this match.

The batters are going to get smashed in England if this is anything to go by then.

So looks like the West indies have dug deep and scrounged a drawing position out of a winning position.

I do not fear this 3 match series coming up next month.

Oh God no, but I thought they might put up a small fight.

On the evidence of this loss, they are going to show up to be destroyed.

    Interesting.

I have only just realised the IPL is 20/20 (thought it was 50 over as well).

Not sure how this is going to help acclimatize to the subcontinent conditions due to the hit out or get out format of 20/20.

Probably because it's on ITV3 all day, I thought it was 50 overs too until I flicked onto it and realised

I'm actually shocked that you'd freely confess to this facepalm moment!!

Like I said, the IPL gets next to no coverage here apart from what they show on ITV3. Not many people here actually care that it exists really.

I don't know why it's a facepalm moment, I have said numerous times I only follow International cricket.

I don't find county cricket or IPL the least bit appealing.

So have never bothered finding out, only what I have been told.
