    I never used to think much of this song until:

    a) I listened to it in a proper musical recording (please watch this, you'll like it even more than YNWA if you're like me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNxDKLzs0zU . Kenny is actually singing the line about himself ). The line about Hillsborough makes me shed tears.

    b) Listening to the original "Fields of Athenry" song which is also beautiful
    Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

    Sad to hear it song so solemnly today for the Munster Coach Anthony Foley sadly passed away aged 42. R.I.P
