Tomorrow, Motherwell will play Celtic at Hampden in the Scottish FA Cup final.

Motherwell, a small(ish) town just outside Glasgow and has a proud sporting tradition.

Some famous playing alumni include our very own Ian St. John and Gary Mac, along with current Norwich manager Paul Lambert. Other notable former players and managers include Alex McLeish, Craig Brown, Terry Butcher, Billy Davies, John Spencer, Andy Goram, Tom Boyd and Brian McLair.

Motherwell last featured in the 1991 Scottish Cup final, and young Holywood was there with his Motherwell born father to see the Steelmen lift the trophy! Unfortunately, we have been unable to make this trip, although I have seen some cracking matches including a European game against the Borussia Dortmund team which went on to win the Champions League!

My 'Well favourite player as a lad (until he moved to Celtic of course), was Phil O'Donnell, who tragically died on the pitch in 2007, shortly after returning to the club.

    Come on the 'Well!!!!!

Well we beat them by 4 at Paradise. And Hampden is a home away from home for Celtic.

With Rangers winning they will be taking anger out on Motherwell.

Hopefully Commons will be fit enough to ply.

This is it the season is almost over, I might watch this game due to nothing else been on apart form the wimbledon game.

Depends which Celtic team turns up, last week celtic hammered motherwell in the league 4-0.
    Francis Jeffers plays for motherwell

Why are you supporting another club?

I hope Celtic win personally but I wouldnt make a thread about it on a Liverpool forum.

Because it may be something that he fondly remembers spending time with his father as a child?

This should be removed it's just going to result in sectarian, anti-celtic comments which will in turn result to anti-rangers comments and then Neil Lennon will be getting even more abuse than he already gets in his life.

Goodluck to both teams and lets hope its a fair, entertaining football match

True would be good to see someone else winning it but I like Celtic and hope they win. Be good to see them getting a trophy they've done well this season and were unlucky in the league.

Why do Celtic put banners up disrespecting our war dead ?

    They are a Scottish club.

My father is from Motherwell, I've been to many games over the years with him and always look for their results. Quite obvious I would've thought?

    It's a football forum...and as you've probably realised, I do whatever I like!

Hopefully Well win. Can't stand Lennon and if he wins a trophy that smug face will make me want to take the 20 minute drive to Hampden and itroduce him to my pimp hand!
