    @Liverpoolforme

I only really got into cricket about 4/5 years ago when Ireland started to do well and a huge fan of it since.

Absolutely love test cricket but love T20 as well. I really enjoy the IPL. Great matches under the lights with great atmospheres.. Kinda reminds me of Anfield on European nights.

Test cricket is brilliant as well though... Its wierd, don't ask me why but in T20 and ODI i support Ireland and Love England to lose them all, but when it comes to Test cricket I support England like I do Liverpool and Ireland. Dont even know why....

Personally I love test cricket and it is the pinicle. I also enjoy the one day formats (international cricket) but no where near the same as test cricket.

Don't really follow cricket outside of the international scene.
Agreed .. 20/20 was interesting for the first year, maybe two, after it's introduction, and that only because it was a slog fest of epic proportion and, as such, quite exciting. No great strategy required, just get out there and hammer the ball .. as a result, it is now really boring. I have tried to watch a couple of IPL games this season, but find I get bored so quickly.

Good day for England and especially Broad, who got 6 Wickets.

I missed it - but I know he's said some things about them before - he's always been highly critical of them.

England in cruise control here 161-1.

Whoever the arseholes were even hinting that he should be removed as captain need one serious slapping.

He did - not really surprising it has happened for him at Lords.

Made up for him, mind; great captain and the calls for him to be dropped have been premature.

You could see what it meant to him - that was a massive realise of emotion.

Nice embrace from KP there too.

Would be nice now if he can rub it in their faces further and go on to score another 50 odd runs!!!

Aye, be nice for us to build a big lead; the forecast is good for tomorrow, but not Sunday.

If we can build a good lead and put pressure on the Windies, we might not need to bat a 2nd innings.

Yeah KP will be crucial to our run rate now.

He will score quickly tomorrow (assuming he is still around) so he can bat without too much pressure.

Would be nice for Bairstow to come in after him if we get a big lead.

He is, so what he went through a period of poor form runs wise, everything else he is and does means he will do from time to time.

Best way to shut them all up anyway what he did today.

In comes the debut man, Bairstow.

Nervous times for the young man!

Hope he get's a decent score.

Bairstow is looking good so far, on 12.

Could have a bright test future ahead of him.

And he's gone for 16, but he looked very assured of himself with good technique.

Will be one for the future.

England now 7 down, still a health lead of 80 but would much prefer to bat them out the game.

If we can get a lead of 125+ I would say West indies are too far behind.

Come on Broad a quickfire 50 would not go a miss.....

So we reach Lunch with 3 wickets left.

We would have liked to reach a massive lead of 200+ but that does not look like it will happen.

A lead of 125+ though will till be a damn good lead, and one that will be too big for the West indies.

Swann gone, but 30 from 25 balls is what the doctor ordered.
