Paper 2 was ok.
Paper 1 was grossly unfair to the students sitting it.
All in an effort to please the lobby groups in business and industry that were calling for more to do higher level maths and pressurised the (last) government to waste 50 million of taxpayers' money in introducing the joke of a course that is 'Project Maths'
They had to make the old paper1 very difficult in order to balance out the poor results in the new paper1.
They did the same with paper2 last year and then tore strips off the students in the marking scheme.
