Could he be looking for a revival of his earlier form? This group hosts two unknowns, MrsBaby1 and WirralRiddler. MB1 has shown off her football knowledge last season in the Guessing Game, could she do the same and be the one to challenge the alpha male of this game: SoonToBeChampions? Or can WirralRiddler confuse his opponents with his riddles and book a place in the last 8?

Taking the top spot is NACNUD, who couldn't mount a Top 10 finish last year due to her late start but posted a fantastic average score. After turning up after missing the end of the season, Shmar takes top place in Group B with 10 points with a Dzagoev double and a Di Natale Italy goal. But he is also joined by GunnerWinTheLeague, last years runner up, who thanks to a last minute improvement goes joint top! Will Benny ever recover from scoring 0 points? Starting off with Group A, this group was the highest scoring group overall. Taking the top spot is NACNUD, who couldn't mount a Top 10 finish last year due to her late start but posted a fantastic average score. The Euro 2012 addition isn't any different for her and she posted an excellent score of 13 points. This was the second highest total this round and her Greek side got her extra points than others as she picked a very original answer of Salpingidis. Just one point behind NACNUD is SirStiffler who scored 12 points which was aided by all the Euro 2012 strikers such as Jelavic, Pavlyuchenko and even legend Shevchenko. Sharing 2nd place with SirStiffler is Chappers8 and in last place is InRodgersITrust. Chappers' predictions involved Dzagoev's double whilst InRodgersITrust involved Mario Gomez. Can NACNUD hold this lead?
Next up is the group that boasts a Europa League winner, a former Guessing Game champion and this years GG Champions League winner. But how did they all fare? Awful! In a shocking surprise in last place is Benny-Noons-Ghost! Okay he must of scored a few points? No, Benny could only manage to scrape 0 points! Has this former Guessing Game champion lost his prediction power? Sitting close to her favourite last place is 4ever who could only predict big Lewy to score. Moving up and we find GG Champions League winner Baby1, in 3rd place after scoring 6 points. After turning up after missing the end of the season, Shmar takes top place in Group B with 10 points with a Dzagoev double and a Di Natale Italy goal. But he is also joined by GunnerWinTheLeague, last years runner up, who thanks to a last minute improvement goes joint top! Will Benny ever recover from scoring 0 points? Will 4ever fix the scores next round so she goes top?
In a group that held last seasons league winner, this was gonna be great! DarkStrike got one up on the person who beat him in the Champions League final, SoonToBeChampions last season as DarkStrike went top of the league with the highest score of the round- 14 points! SoonToBeChampions could only score 11 points and this leaves him in 3rd place Above him is HitmanLFC who recovered 6 points in the last day and took his total up to 12 points. Just ahead of MrsBaby1 is new player WirralRiddler, who scored 10 points, thanks to a Gomez assist late in the day
In what was highlighted as the closest group, it seems LivingProof may be running away with it as he scored 10 points which gives him a 4 point advantage over 2nd placed Glizendo who in his first ever round, and using bright colours, scored 6 points. Also joining Glizendo on 6 points is last years 3rd place finisher Tuta who was another of the Dzagoev crew. Finally in last place is the self titled "Predicting God"(I did not make that up......) OldSniperWolfy96 who predicted Dortmund and Munich strikers to grab himself 4 points. With a cup already to his name, can LivingProof become the 2nd player to do the double? But with two players coming out of this group, which one will join him?
