Hardly surprising, I understand his thoughts.
Can't see him appearing alot more next season either.

the external locus of control ? what the **** is that ?

the thing is he'd get panned for staying and soaking up the wages,
and he gets panned for saying he wants to leave and play football

he gets panned either way - good luck to him I say

Awesome at 16 but wasted in all honesty for about 4 years.

Not bothered if he leaves now.

What's with all the resentment towards Dani?

Hardly displaying much class here Kopites.. he's a good lad who's always been passionate about us.. and even been seen sat amongst us.

So he may leave, he wants to play, he hasn't quite stepped up from the reserves as we hoped he would..

Hardly deserves the bashing he's getting in here though!

Best fans in the world?! Fickle bunch sometimes!

    Good luck Dani.

And with regards Norwich - Ask a Norwich fan how he performed for them.. he was by no means a failure for them.

Not slagging him off in any shape or form but im done with all the Dani stories from 2008 till now.

He knows the deal, he needs to put the effort in to force himself into the team, its well known that in training he doesn't do that and when he has had chances hes failed to impress.

I don't think it'll affect us much first team wise as he's never featured, it's just sad he doesn't seem to have developed enough to impress the 3 managers we've had in the time he's been here.

If he does go and it's for good i wish the lad well and i'm sure he'll be a success for a club lower down in this country or back in his homeland.

And yet your name would suggest you have patience..

I understand he may have to move on, just don't get some of the sentiments expressed here.. bit bizarre.

All of the above. Some people in this thread should be ashamed.

I like the lad and think he has something, but now is the make or break year for him I think.

If we are selling ngog and Pach does not push for the position i think his days are numbered

    with the possible sale of

    jovo
    poulson
    maxi
    mereles
    ngog
    cole
    aqua /loan?????

I can not see why he should not be pushing for the first team this will be his **** or bust season really

Shouldnt you judge him off a few performances in the first team, there's many players who "just havent got it" and are currently plying their trade in the leage and we have a few in our team ie Konchesky, Poulsen, Ngog, and for a few seasons many on here thought Lucas "hadnt got it".............every player deserves a chance, I think he should shut up and get on with trying, if he's going to play under any manager it would be Kenny, I'm not saying for one min he would be amazing but he's def got talent, and is technically very good.

Don't wish him any ill will, just think he would of come through by now or atleasy been in Kenny's thoughts for this season if it was going to happen.I've always found him a bit lightweight. And i don't think he's as good as he thinks he is.

Can't blame him. He's 20 now, and probably doesn't want to spend another season in limbo. If I were him I'd either want assurances I'd be involved more often or be allowed to leave.

C'mon guys it's not like he's just said anything disrespectful to or about the club.

It's fair enough if he wants more game time, and if he sees that as happening elsewhere, fair do's. More football-orientated footballers would be good for our wage bill, since it would see us wave goodbye to the Jovas and Degens and El Zhars.

Just because he hasn't made it, it doesn't mean we need to hate him!

Ive seen Nacho a couple of times for the U18s, he has a nice touch. Have to see hoe he does with the reserves b4 judging.

    Can't blame him.

If he's ever going to get any better, he needs to be somewhere he gets played.

Cole never did anything here, so that's not a fair comparison. He needs to be measured up to someone who actually did something.

You and I are as good as Joe Cole (without the 90k per week of course) going by his last season's contributions to our club.

I am patient, but not 4 years worth and still hearing "i feel sorry for Dani...if given a chance he would be better than messi"
