Must be a morning thing with you thenIn all honestly the only time i see Gumbot get cobby is when people start tearing into him/arsenal after a bad result and then don't like it when he gives 'em it back when we **** up so he's not really at fault there imo.....

Oh and back to the game, I bet Jayfire can't wait to see if there's a chance of me thumping him in the next round![]()
It's great in school as there is loads who think winning the cup instantly makes them better than arsenal. You get the usual "you havent won a cup" and my favourite "your not in europe". To which i respond with arsenals league positions above liverpool and liverpools european whereabouts this year.
That makes me laugh though, the only thing that winds me up is people being loud and acting like a five year old![]()
FA Cup Quarter-Final Update
Rianaldo 9 vs 7 LightningLucas
2 homes, 3 aways, 1 draw (-2 points for lateness) - 2 homes, 1 away, 1 draw
In the first of the quarter-finals, Rianaldo avoided crashing out of a second competition in the space of a week as he managed to edge out LightningLucas by 2 points. Whilst Rian failed to produce a colossal score, his solid 9 point round was more than enough as LightningLucas failed to produce when it mattered. With the second lowest score of the round, it was little surprise to see the Europa quarter-finalist crash out at the quarter-final stage.
Jayfire 17 vs 10 Cumbrian
3 homes, 4 aways, 2 draws - 3 homes, 2 aways, 1 draw
Without doubt, this was the biggest tie of the round as two title rivals collided. With Cumbrian crashing out of Europa to another title rival last week, the pressure was on him to stop that repeating in the FA Cup. However, he slipped up yet again, this time to the Pools successful ever player, Jayfire who has now marched on into the semi-finals. Jayfire was this round highest scorer with 17 points, whilst Cumbrian could only score 10, meaning the current GG champion now only has the League Championship to focus as we head into the last few months of the season. Incidentally, Jayfire is now looking to win his 2nd FA Cup title, albeit it wasn't very competitive last time round
Tardelli59 6 vs 9 GunnerWinTheLeague
2 homes, 2 aways, 0 draws - 2 homes, 2 aways, 1 draw
A an expected comfortable win for Tardelli59 didn't turn out that way as GunnerWinTheLeague pulled off a huge upset to defeat established player Tardelli59. This was mainly down to Tardelli59's lacklustre round, a surprise for a player who generally is quite consistent with his scores. Gunner himself had a slightly disappointing round but he won't care as the lowest ranked player from this round is now in the last four. Cup competitions are actually something which Gunner seems to excel in and will be hoping to improve his record of never progressing past a semi-final.
Shmar 9 vs 14 SoontobeChampions
3 homes, 3 aways, 0 draws - 2 homes, 3 aways, 2 draws
Like the previous tie, Shmar went into the match as the big underdog but he was unable to pull off the same feat as Gunner, and consequently, he was eliminated from a competition for the second time in a week. Infact, it wasn't the worst round by Shmar but his 9 point round wasn't enough to defeat SoontobeChampions' strong score of 14 points. A huge factor in this tie was probably the 2 draws predicted by STBC, which obviosuly gains a lot more points than homes and aways. With his European title now out of reach, STBC will be hoping to replace that with a shiny new FA Cup.
Players through to the Semi-Final are:
Rianaldo
Jayfire
GunnerWinTheLeague
SoontobeChampions
