I said 4 or 6 points for the Stoke and Spurs games, so Im obviously rubbish at this game.

I'll say 4 points optimistically, but honestly I cant see us staying unbeaten for these two games. We have not been good enough or consistant enough.

    0. With the team kenny puts out we wouldn't score a goal or keep a cleansheet in these fixtures. He puts Carragher in CB, Mancs and Everton can count themselves 3-0 ahead He then puts Carroll up front. Opposition can count they have a man advantage. He puts Adam in the middle. Rivals can count one more player from which they can receive a pass.

If Gerrard, Maxi, Kuyt and Bellamy are not in starting 11, I expect us scoring no goals and if Carra plays I expect a penalty conceded in each of the next two games. Sounds bad but that are the indications

It's a long shot, but 5 wins and 2 draws from our next seven fixtures would take us to 27 points from 13 games, which would put us within touching distance of United and City. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but winning our next two games could potentially ignite a title challenge.

Remember, when Gerrard hits form we are practically untouchable. Let's hope he does.

To beat Everton & Scum, we need to play like this

    --Downing-----------Suarez----------Bellamy--
    -------------------------Kuyt------------------------

Subs: 70 mins Adam for Bellamy & Maxi for Downing

    -------------------------Reina---------------------
    -Johnson--Carragher-----Agger----Enrique-
    -------------Lucas------------Adam---------------
    ----Suarez-----------Gerrard------------Maxi---
    -------------------------Kuyt-----------------------

    Subs: 80mins Carroll for Gerrard

    -------------------------Reina---------------------
    -Johnson--Carragher-----Agger----Enrique-
    -------------Lucas------------Adam---------------
    ----Kuyt--------------Suarez-------------Maxi---
    ------------------------Carroll----------------------

I think 4 points and everybody would be happy on here. Surely i would be. If we can stop manu in any shape or form that would be a huge success. I would say anything less than a win against Everton would be a disappointment, but if we draw against them and win against manu after it i will be over the moon!

I'm looking forward to unleashing Suarez and Gerrard against United

I expect Gerrard to have a 30 minute run around against Everton, and to start against Man Utd.

We have Kelly back, so out defence is now amazing.

But seriously, can't see why we won't beat both. Everton took a pounding yesterday, and stoke held off the mancs, and in fairness should/could have won the game.

We have a great record against the mancs at Anfield over the past few seasons, and it's ALWAYS a game we're up for, we beat them whilst playing poorly last season comfortably. Remember Suarez turning 5 players? Again, they now have a back 4 that hasn't played against him yet, and Vidic can get sent off for taking him out instead. United are a team that never seem to rise to the challenge at Anfield. Nani resembles ronaldo in the way that he goes missing against us. The only threats? Rooney and Young.

Everton. We will win that game. Carrolls first in the PL this season possibly? We need to play the work horses to better our chances though. Players like Drenthe have a constant energy reserve, but we have that in Suarez, Kuyt and Bellamy. 3 players that could drain a defense. Play Downing, Suarez, Bellamy, and then when one tires, replace with Kuyt.

again, no reason 6 points is not achievable.

I'm gonna sound overly optimistic, but we seem to be able to step up against tough opposition, and with our skipper back on the ship, I think we'll be an even bigger threat. 6 points out of 6 possible for me.

Are you illiterate? Read the next sentence where I specifically said it wasn't possible so I'd settle for 4 points.

we are definitely better than everton but a derby at the goodison will be hard purely because of the pressure and the physical side this game always brings, but i would not bet against and i think a draw is the worst case scenario, but against united we will either dominate the game and create chance after chance and win, or we will dominate the game and create chance after chance but fail to put them away and not win (i cant see us not dominating the game against them as even when we lose to them we usually dominate)

im going to stick my neck out and predict 6 points, but i wouldnt be dissappointed wiht 4 providing we beat mancs

    6pts

confident of winning the merseyside derby.

Because we are at Anfield we can, should and will beat the scum at home. If it was at Old Trafford then I would have said 4pts or 3pts.

    6.

Suarez will tear both everton and utd's defence apart.

although Rooney and Young will give ours a good go also.

hahaha, that made me get excited just reading it. i hate it though! i look at what you put and think "yes! we can do it! we ARE Liverpool!" and then we loose or draw a few and i don't want to even think about football.
Think its time are players dug in and showed there teeth to grind out some wins.

Its a funny one really. If we drew both games and got 2pts some folk on here would say it isnt a disaster yet if we beat the bitters but lost against Manure it would be like the apocalypse on here even though we'd have more points

I dread the next 2 games the way we're defending and the way our 2nd half performances have been this season

probably a point from everton and a 2-0 loss to the scum
