Anne Williams has been fighting this for 22 long years.....Kevin was still alive at 3.50.pm......the only thing he needed to keep him alive until he got to hospital was oxygen.....he never recieved it. The policewoman that was by his side heard him ask the question Mum? at 3.50.pm...he died in her arms at 3.55.pm
Please support Anne and sign this petition for along overdue new inquest....

I can't sign this as I'm not a UK citizen, but I do support Anne Williams in her quest. Her's has always been a story that's touched me. To hear from somebody who was with her son at his last moments and who heard his last words, and yet not to get a proper inquest into his death where this evidence could be admitted is nothing short of a disgrace.
But then, everything to do with the way the authourities handled the disaster is a disgrace.
One thing I would worry about for Anne, is the timing of this petition. On one hand, the debate on Monday has put the issue firmly on the public consciousness again but I hope that some people (obviously non-LFC supporting) are not going to think.. 'Yet another e-petition' and not bother to even read it's purpose let alone sign.
Would Anne not have been better off holding out for a little bit longer, perhaps until the panel release the papers to her and the other families before making this petition, that way it may coincide with what ever is to be revealed from the papers and get more of a chance of reaching the 100k+ signatories.*
But then again, she has waited far too long already.
(*I'm not saying this to be insensitive so I hope nobody misinterprets my words as such, merely trying to put my mind set into that of somebody who may not be fully aquainted with the story)
Friendly Good Morning bump..
Justice for Kevin...
Justice for the 96...
my thoughts too.
dont get me wrong, i am 100% behind Anne and the other families, every single one of them needs to know exactly what happened when they lost their loved ones. but i dont think this is the right time for this step yet.
to Anne i would say this...
stay strong, things are moving in the right direction at last. Monday night was a massive step towards you finding the truth about what happened to Kevin.
we all know that the 3.15 cut off time was /is outragous and a major part of the whole cover up. i believe that 3.15 cut of time will be revisited and discredited by the panels report when it comes out next year, and that will be the time for Anne to demand her inquest... and we WILL make sure she gets it
