Im still somewhat gutted Sky are covering the F1.

No doubt their coverage will be good but they just seem to over-glamorise everything they touch. We'll see anyway..

McLaren are going to knock the red bull of it's perch....is a faahct!!!

Lewis & Jenson are both saying the car is "Welded" to the track in any kind of cornering situation. They are both impressed with the performance/speed & the predictable complicit nature of their car....it bodes well.

    Go team MMMMMMMMacca!!!!!!

Lewis on pole, Button second. A McClaren lockout.
Come on Lewis, finish the job tomorrow.

    Impressed with Grosjean too.

If that's the pace of the Lotus, Raikkonen will be dangerous tomorrow with all those fresh tyres

After one qualifying, Lewis replaces Vettel as favourite to become world champion.
I think its a bit premature.

Yep,far too early. Vettel was so poor in quali because he didn't do a soft tyre quali run in 3rd practice, because he put a tyre on the edge of the grass when braking for a corner and put his car in the gravel, just before going into the pits to try a mock quali-run. So was on the back foot for Qualifying. Red Bull are there, but McLaren have a very fast car from the off this year, and they improve massively as a season goes by,as we've seen in the last few seasons when catching up for design errors early on. It will be close this season. Alot closer than the last two in my opinion. The fact that both Maccas are on the front row indicates the car is fast as Jenson isn't noted for Banzai-Quali single lap speed, but then again,Albert Park is a bit of a one off and not a "normal" circuit,so it's not truly indicative of how the season will necessarily go. I'm happy though,Team Macca at the front & the Ferrari's nowhere!!! Not a prancing horse...more like a pantomime nag!!! The Fezza is bang in trouble!

Renault(Lotus) always start well, but don't improve as much as the others as a season evolves, they always fall behind a bit come midseason, maybe with the Kimster's feedback and Grosjean keeping Kimi honest, they can push to season's end...maybe.

I've recently binned SKY (I'm flying back from Jamaica overnight anyway) but for future races i'll be hoping to find a decent stream (when it's not live on BBC HD)

There's loads of them. Sky must be jumping about it....tough! The greedy murdoch capitalist piglets!
Sad for the fans really, they've been priced out of sitting on a wet grass bank in a gale of wind & rain in the middle of Northamptonshire to see the British GP,now they can't even see live races on their own tax paid for telly. It's a disgrace what's gone on in reality. Ecclestone broke his Concorde Agreement of ensuring FOCA coverage broadcasting free to air,the BBC broke their contract which ran till the chequered flag of the last race in 2013,and all the presenters like Brundle,Kravitz,Croft,Davidson have all jumped ship too. It's all a bit pathetic really. Thanks Bernie, thanks for snubbing the loyal fans that made you rich for decades.

I`m really enjoying the first race.

Glad to see that Kimi Räikkönen is back, hopefully his first race will end well.

Button drove consistantly well even when the pace car came out, lewis needs to practise his starts that let him down today and should have beat vettel, but they are all very good drivers.

Decent first race, but i thought the commentator on Sky was a bit to overly enthusiastic, not Martin Brundle the other chap. He just seemed to be yelling all the time at any incident
