since were signing him, i made this song for him!

    Tello!
Is it goals youre looking for?
'cause we wonder how you score
And we adore what you do
Are you somewhere hitting the back of the net?
    Or is someone adoring you?
Tell us how to win your heart
For we haven't got a clue
But let us start by saying we love you

It would be a ridiculous move to sell him to anyone for €10m and I can't see it happening. Possible loan move perhaps if he wants more first team action? Though arguably less in our interests than just buying a new winger.

Do you hear the Anfield roar?
'cause we wonder where you are
And we wonder what you do
    Are you somewhere feeling lonely?
    Or is someone loving you?
Tell us how to win your heart

But let us start by saying we love you

I feel there is absolutely no chance that ANYONE will be getting this kid.

He'll remain at Barca and take his 1st team opportunities well when they come. He's yet another one of their ridiculous production line and i think coming this far he'll unlikely want to leave.

History shows that if Barca are willing to let their players go there's a reason e.g. Dos Santos, Bojan (they desperately wanted to keep Cesc).
sorry youre wrong, he has scored the first goals in a game, levelling goals and whilst theyre winning too.

one which springs to mind was his debut goal, ensuring his side took the lead one nil away to real sociedad

Only makes sense if one was to believe the Neymar to Barca rumors that have heated up again.

nah me neither, i just cant see it happening. if i was him and i grew up there and supported the team id stay. i agree with the other posts about villa. its known in spain i beleive that he and messi dont see eye to eye, and it frustrates him being out on the wing (although not on the wing as we play it lf course). he had an amazing first season, but this season didnt start well, and breaking his leg in december didnt help. although hes training now so will be back soon, but im not sure how often he will play.

I can't see Barca selling Tello, unless it's a similar agreement like the one they made with Roma for Bojan, with a potential buy-back if they wanted to.

But I still think he'll stay at Barca.

To people saying they wont sell him i remember people saying the same about Romeu. Wouldnt be suprised if they sold him to us or anyone else with a buy back clause!

He's a fine player and for £10mil it would be a bargain. He is what Pedro was in his first season.

Ironically if Tello gets more games it could push Pedro out and we could go for him instead. He's close to landing himself in the Luis Garcia position. I.e. being a strong player for Barcelona, but being a victim of their amazing squad of players.

This guy would be a great signing. I'd be shocked if Barca let him go though, especially for such a small fee. Unless of course, as mentioned by some, it's one of Barca's 'buy back' deals. But to me, he's exactly the type of player we need to be looking at.

The first bit might just make a tiny bit sense if you mean Afellay/Pedro. Otherwise it's just you pretending to have watched far more football than you actually have. Again.

I don't even know where to begin.

*puts up thread about Mirko Vucinic the night after he scores a good goal*

You're right. He looked really bereft of confidence two weeks ago when he bagged a brace off the bench against Leverkusen in the Champions League.

    In general?

He hasn't exactly played enough to draw any conclusion about form and confidence really, but in the games i have seen him appear in he's looked exciting, confident, measured and not out of place within that Barca side.

What matches have you seen that gives you the conclusion that he's out of form and lacking confidence?

You used the word, "Apparently", so have you heard it or read it somewhere?

Tello is rapid and a very composed finisher for someone his age. As usual though, Em knows better because he's read a different opinion on the interwebz.

Yeh, him and Cuenca have emerged as real talents this season and don't look out of place at all when appearing amongst the stars of that side.

If either is lacking confidence or form then that's a massive positive really because they've been excellent so far in the fleeting appearances they've made.

Loved it when Messi told Cuenca to stop looking at the ground.

Five out of his seven goals have come when Barca are leading and he's come on as a substitute. Don't see how that makes me wrong?

He's a great talent, just think we should be holding our interest until he shows what he can be like throughout a season. Look at Pedro, been very strangely average this season compared to his fantastic last season and a half.

People on this site are so touchy..

Frankly Cuenca looks very much out of place. I doubt he'll last very long unless Guardiola is 100% in love with him for whatever reason.

Normally i couldn't see it happening but with the high possibility of Neymar arriving in the summer and Afellay returning to fitness it's likely one of their wide players would become available whether it be Tello, Cuenca (who are recent graduates) or Pedro who's achieved much there in a short time and may see pastures greener somewhere else!

Barring this 'apparent' relationship with Pep and Borrell, I don't why anyone at Barca, who has a chance of first team action would want to come here. Currently playing alongside the best player in history and the best team in history.
