If anyone were to leave it'd be Afellay and Villa I reckon, though Villa is still highly revered at Barca it seems, and Afellay was playing well up to his injury.
Alexis has done superb this season and added something different to their play. Same with Cuenca and Tello.
Really?
I haven't seen that when i've watched Barca and he's come in to the side. Sure, he's raw and needs to improve further to last longer and have a career there but the initial impressions have been good for me.
It's not easy going into that Barca side and you'd be found out straight away if you couldn't hack it, especially in forward areas, he seems to have done well and as much as Tello looks even better in this aspect Cuenca has not looked like he just isn't right in that side.
I don't think so, that only really happens when Fabregas plays.
Alves is the winger for the right, with Cuenca and Sanchez becoming more traditional wingers for whoever plays on the left. The other one becomes a wide striker to fed off Messi.
It's certainly more complicated than their 433, which if I'm honest I preferred and thought it suited them more, however this system suits Messi the best and brings he midfielders into it more. I guess as Villa is injured and Pedro is out of form it makes sense, but I'm pretty sure if Barca get a topclass attacking wide player (say Neymar) they would revert back or switch between both systems.

was watching the europa matches over the week. spotted a few decent players from different clubs.
bilbao : munain, martinez, llorente, iraola
valencia : piatti
beskitas : ismail (LB)
particularly like munain, a LW who can play through the centre and is only 18. skillful, good vision and works hard.
I wonder if when somebody rings him he picks up the phone and says tello...
He'd do excellent here.
Looked like a bit of a one trick pony tonight, but certainly plenty of promise.
I'm going to the Camp Nou in two weeks, hoping to start a rendition of "Tello! Ee-say Tello! Daylight come and me wan' go home"
Piatti is a good shout . likes to dribble around defences . very small player tough.
