Alot of games weren't just one save. We've seemed to come up against alot of ressie goalkeepers this season who have had the game of their lives, its been incredible. I agree there is something missing, obviously, i agree fully that the league table doesn't lie.

However, i'm fully behind the club's stance on the suarez affair, i think it was a gross handling of miscommunication, which i don't feel there is any need to go back into as it is done now, ban served etc. I like where you are coming from, i hope Kenny doesn't go (i wouldn't blame him if he did), but if he was to go, yes no former managers please.

All in all, a disappointing season, albeit i don't think any of us would have complained with another honour being added to that long list we have, we are also two wins away from another.

Am I a hypocrite? Absolutely not.

I'm sick of this argument, I NEVER wanted Roy in the first place nor did I think he was the man for the job. I believed and still believe Kenny can improve this squad, gross difference in the 2
How do you believe that Kenny can improve the squad...by being allowed to throw money at it?

Despite wanting Roy out, our current form under Kenny is worse yet you feel he will be able to turn it around for some reason that defies logic.

You wanted Roy out because you didn't want him here in the first place. By the same token you want Kenny to stay because you were behind his appointment.

Whether you see yourself as hypocritical or not, it seems that you are refusing to acknowledge what is currently going on because it doesn't fit your agenda.

I would say that you are a hypocrite for wanting Roy out, but backing Kenny for similar failings, despite the latter having far more opportunity and resources to put the situation right. That doesn't make any sense to me.

I certainly don't want us to throw money at the situation in the summer. I would rather see this wonderful managerial ability that people keep telling me Kenny has by getting the best out of the players we have here...you know...50% of the team that he bought himself!

The concerns that I raised before we appointed Kenny are rearing their ugly head more and more with every passing game we play and whilst not pleased about it..I am certainly not surprised.

Most people here refused to even contemplate Kenny failing as an option and that is the main reason they are now burying their heads in the sand the more his shortcomings are highlighted.

FSG will not be hated for sacking Kenny. Not the way the team has been performing.

I have been a big supporter for Kenny getting another season after this, and I can live with bad results. But the performances we have been seeing lately are just not acceptable. There is a feeling of resignation all through the club and I fear it has gone too far to turn around for the man still in charge.

I dont think the owners situation is that difficult, they have 3 choices

    1. Take Kenny's word for it that we are unlucky, tired but progressing and spend little this summer, while keeping their fingers crossed that despite the extra european games next season the players will be fresher and our luck will change.

    2. Give Kenny a slap on the wrist, insist he gets rid of his duds and provide major investment for another squad overhaul.

    3. Sack Kenny and give another manager a major budget to overhaul the squad.

Mistakes have been made in the transfer market. I'm sure he accepts that.

But this mercenary attitude is ridiculous.
On the basis of what exactly? And before people explode here, let's remember that the owners, bright, patient and understanding as they are, have basically zero emotional connection with LFC's past or what Dalglish means to a lot of people. You cannot blame them for that, it's just the reality.

Given this, I would expect them to make decisions based on sound business judgement and results (both short- and long-term). Dalglish might get the benefit of some doubt and some leeway because of his status within LFC; unfortunately, the situation that has unfolded before us in the league this season is of such catastrophic proportions that any goodwill would be used up by now.

I feel Kenny will be gone in the summer. FSG will look and say we have won 1 cup, maybe 2. Thanks for that Kenny... But the league table does not lie!

If we give him another summer to bring in his players, and the team still struggles in the league... We will have to look at replacing him anyway, in September or October. Then the new manager is stuck with another managers signings

I think it is best to change your manager in the summer.

If we win the FA cup, I just hope we don't get carried away with winning 2 cups. The league is where you are judged for me!

after the amount of money Kenny spent im fairly confident in saying we were all feeling optimistic about this season.

i honestly feel if Liverpool went down to the championship with the team we have, yes we would win the League but probably not dominate by 15-30 points.

everyone is saying that is the players, and their effort and attitude is all wrong, attitude reflects leadership.

because Kenny is such a legend at the club it would be hard for the owners to sack him, as a lot of fans would slate them for that.

    what do they do now?

    a) Sack kenny and risk being hated

    b) keep him at the club, to save face

im sorry, i love liverpool through and through, but each week i am losing faith in the 'project'

dont forget a few seasons back we were all saying 'next year we will win the prem'
now we are saying 'maybe next year we will be in top 4'

how long till 'maybe next year we make the Europa' and so on and so on

P.S i am not posting this to upset anyone it is just my opinion
    a) Who is going to hate them for sacking a manager that isn't performing and showing no signs of being able to turn it around?

    b) Who's face are they going to be saving? They will do whatever is right for the club if they have any sense....regardless of who it looks bad for.

We are in a state of alarming regression....that is cold, hard fact.

Whatever decision is taking will be absolutely crucial in terms of whether this club becomes competitive at the business end of the table in future, or whether we are officially a mid-table club forever more.

To say Kenny's bound to get another season is just silly
i think if we win the fa cup kenny derserves at least another season, if next season we fail to make top 4 regardless of winning a trophy i think kenny should call it a day.

totaly agreed, it will buy him another season then its gotta be top 4 and anything else is a bonus. my worry is that arsenal, spurs chelsea will all be stronger next season, so unless we bring in some serious qaulity players we could miss out again.

We need another striker, a creative midfielder and a right winger.

Come on please. Yes its about a 38m net spend, but no matter how you look at it we spent 114m and most of it was wasted.

For the money we spent on Carrol, Henderson and Downing alone (71-75m) you would expect at least 1 if not 2/3 world class players instead we get a 16-20m player with potential no more, a 20m winger who in his 10 year career has not shown anything to warrent a 20m price tag, never mind being a LFC player and who will not get any better at 27/28 years old.

Then finally Carrol who is by far are dearest ever signing at 35m. A player who will never fit into LFCs style of player and will probably be sold at, at least a 20m loss. On these 3 alone we stand to lost about 35-40m IMO
