I will start it because as of Tuesday morning I am on Holiday!!! Or I had better say Vacation seeing as I am going to Florida!!!
Happy days indeed!!
me and the wife have just come back from 2 weeks in Jamaica, first time there, we had 1 week at the Couples Tower Isle and a week in the Couples San Souci, we went and visited Nine File where Bob Marley is buried and we cycled down the Blue Mountains. would wholeheartedly say it was the best holiday we've both had, the country and people were so welcoming and friendly. Shame about the 10 hour flight though, but would love to go back there again one day.
We're just back from our first holiday, weekend in Liverpool to watch the match, and this morning we done the Anfield and museum tour.
Next will probably be to our apartment in Los Pacos, Spain.
We used to have a condo in Florida, where are you going to?
We are staying in Kissimmee, yes I know all about the crime rate. But **** it.
Mickey mouse can't be that hard.
Looks like France and Morrocco in May!
Can't ******* wait!!
Poland and Ukraine in June!![]()
Me, the mrs and the kids are off to Cala d'or for a week in June with some friends and their kids.
Should be a larf.
Will also be having a golfing weekend in Spain somewhere in July. Boys on tour.... marvellous.![]()
Got a few short breaks this year, London in Easter, Manchester (To see coldplay) in June but main one is Paris (Also in June).
Never been to France before so cant wait!
Off to Washington DC to see a mate who moved over there for work. Will be there for independence day too which should be pretty special.
Also going to Berlin for a stag do the same month as well.
Off back to Turkey three weeks today![]()
Can. Not. Wait!
Naff all, I fear!
Was meant to be away last week, but was too busy with work to go anywhere. Might try and get a cheap week on a small Greek island in September, but that's going to depend on a lot of things...
Going to the Olympics in August for a few days, and probably camping in the Lakes again at some point
A small village called Ovacik, about 20mins walk from Hisaronu and between Fethiye and Oludinez on the Dolmus route.
Indeed! This will be my third time back to the same place, I just hope it's going to be warm enough at the end of April....

Leave the poor fish alone!!
I've never been in April before, the 'season' is supposed to start in May but there's no way with everything going on that we could have made it over in May or June, so hopefully the last two weeks of April will just about be warm enough.... I generally stick by the pool rather than go in the sea so am not fussed if that's cold!
So come on then, all you people that have been to Florida before, Tips, advice???
I can barely afford beans let alone a holiday.
Go and see a space shuttle launch!
Ah no, they're being dismembered for storage
Go to Kennedy Space Centre anyway: the visitor tour is worth a look, especially if you go and see the Saturn V.
Universal Studios theme park was awesome - and there was a guy from Rhyl on the gate, which was odd to say the least.
If you're driving long distances, Naples is lovely; and the Keys are great, would have liked to stay a couple of nights in Key West.
The roads are *very*, *very* dull though. After a while you get bored of looking for alligators in the ditches, which is about the only thing of interest.
Oh yeah. Don't bother with Miami.
It's a dump - apart from the spectacle of the mostly naked black dude on roller blades wearing a boa constrictor, which takes some believing.
Erm, not far if memory serves. Was a few years agoI did drive from Orlando to Daytona Beach tho so it can't be too far, it's on the east coast about half way up the state but will double check for you.
Seconded. Not that I've seen the guy you're on about!!But I was really looking forward to the couple of days we spent in Miami, but apart from Coconut Grove (which had decent nightlife) it really was disappointing.
Also agree on the roads - seriously dull.
About an hour's drive north on I4 I reckon
