thats a technical aspects. what i am saying is that they could be forced out by going back on a verbal agreement or not increasing salary based on performance which clearly miereles deserved. so the reality is that our FSG is not clearly clean on this issue. they may not want the players to stay not because of footballing reasons but could be because of wage dispute.
this is a possiblity and that means kenny should not be blamed. the power structure is not clear.
most importantly recent comments by the king on his demand for top talents coming in is telling.

Francis Jeffers was 22/23 when he got his cap and was/is the all-time leading scorer for England Under-21s with 13 goals, a record he shares with Alan Shearer. Who gives a **** because the dross that has played for that side in the last decade or more has completely devalued call ups and caps.
Kenny deserves time, thats for sure. he took over a team that had lost Alonso Mascharano Arbeloa and was losing Torres, add that to an aging Kuyt Gerrard and Carra and you could see the job on his hands. Comolli should either be involved in the business side or the scouting side not both. we should have Kenny and the scouts picking the potential targets and someone doing the negotiating.
ok so you have picked out 2 players form the last 10 years that are the same age as Carroll who failed to make it after playing for England at a young age... big wow
There are more believe me (a 23 year old Michael Ricketts off the top of my head) and even more young players that have started out at smaller clubs, got hyped off the face of the earth and got found out at a bigger club.

He's been here a year and has given more evidence as to why the old english targetman is a thing of the past rather than provide evidence he's an integral part of this clubs future.
