He is apparently being watched by Liverpool and they r gonna try and lure him in. This is a clever buy I think because he has strength and height and is good in the box

I would much prefer huntelaar personally. Adebayor is certainly a good player, but he is one that has no respect for the club and fans. Look at when he joined Man City, and was a total disgrace with his celebration against Arsenal, he has then joined Arsenal's arch rivals Spurs. What else can he do to spite the club that made him?? Also the only thing he plays for is money. He looks like he won't join Spurs, not because they don't want him but because he doesn't want to take a pay cut and would rather be on the bench or sent out on loan again by City than be guarenteed football and scoring goals in the champions league. For me that's why i wouldn't want him. I wan't to see people that play with passion and desire and love the club, not one that is thinking when his next pay package is. So that's why i would go with Huntelaar. He started his career at Ajax, and is still loved there. He is a quality player, who has played with suarez before and stats show the two where a perfect match. So thats why i say no to Emmanuel, and yes to Klass!

Huntelaar would be my number one target in the summer.

Won't come to us. other options like Soldado or Huntelaar are more viable.

Metro: Liverpool set to beat Spurs to Adebayor deal

Tottenham look likely to end an impressive season on a miserable note by losing star striker Emmanuel Adebayor to Liverpool.

The Togo hitman has been on loan from Manchester City this season and has spearheaded a Spurs attack that has fired the club to within touching distance of a Champions League spot.

Spurs are keen to keep him at White Hart Lane on a permanent basis but, according to Caught Offside, may be about to pull out of a deal because of the player's excessive wage demands.

With Roberto Mancini blessed with an abundance of attacking talent at the Etihad Stadium, that will leave Adebayor looking for a new club.

Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is known to be a fan and is ready to splash out on another striker this summer, to add to existing big-money purchases Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.

Adebayor has scored 11 times in 26 Premier League appearances for Spurs and offers a proven record of hitting the net.

Adebayor is a quality striker, poacher and provider. Would be a great piece of business if we got him.

If they like him now and are willing to meet his wage demands, then why the hell didnt they nip in before Tottenham when he first became available?.He could have been the difference this year in all those stupid draws and missed chances.

I'd love to know what wage cut he'd be willing to take, then.

Yes but Carroll does not have 13 Goals and 11 Assists like Adeybayor does

And plus he has calmed down a lot more in the past couple years which is a great , although he would probably demand in excess of 100k a week, and I know spurs cannot afford that
plus there is a chance Chelsea or Newcastle can pip them for fourth place.

Did you not see Andy standing outside the box watching Suarez cross for little Bellers?! He's got the attributes but he ball-watches and doesn't get in there enough for a top No.9!
