hi, when I click on my profile at the top of the page and then click on my recent posts, why does it never update? I have posted a number of times since it last updated, its easy to see if you have any replies this way and I use it often, Anyone else having this problem?

i post in some thread , go away from here for a while , come back again and cant remember the last thread i posted in , so i go to recent posts by my name and it brings me to posts i made 2 weeks ago ... i know, i know - i know , i know , yall need time etc .. , but i mean this is rid ick cul ous .. as tom waits say's , you be goin outta bisness

The search function doesn't provide posts from sooner than a week ago, nor does it provide posts from before the update. If you're after posts that took place within that short few weeks between two said moments in time, Merry Christmas.

As above, the search index is broken and is to be rebuilt once the post pruning process is complete. Once that happens search should be much better. Sorry for the reduced service in the meantime.

Pruning is complete across most of the boards. It has to be spread out as it slows the forums. However once it's complete we can schedule the rebuild.

It's still not working and it has been weeks since I've reported it. Any hope soon? I'm a stalker, I stalk other forum members and beat them with their own words.
Tom every day we're trimming the posts on the forums. It's a slow process as it's very server intensive. Once that's completed we'll rebuild the site search index and we hope that will resolve it.

Hi I'm sure theres numerous threads highlighting the posting and searching issues,
any idea when it will be fixed?
the only way I can post is by quoting a post before deleting it and starting my own reply, I can't 'reply' using the normal method,
this isn't my main issue though as I can get around it.
My main problem is I can't search my own post history to find threads I've posted in (and had an interest in) so they disappear in the abyss, especially if it's in a thread that could get merged into another thread. it completely ruins the usability of the forum 'hence why I'm rarely on any more'
I've tried using chrome, Explorer and firefox with the same result (cleared cache etc.)
currently I find it almost unusable as I can't follow a thread I have an interest in if it's one I opened up on a whim and posted in.

just checked and it says my last post was on the 24th February, and this thread doesn't exist? also on the new thread board threads with lots of replys are showing as no one has viewed it? when obviously they have. worked fine before the changeover
