I can see us loosing again, especially if we start with Carra in defence, the gap between our Def and Mid will be huge and we'll resort to hoofing it past them AGAIN.
I know most people just like to skim over other people's teams but I'm going to post my favoured team anyway since I have it in my head:
Doni
Flanagan - Skrtel - Coates - Enrique
Henderson - Spearing
Gerrard - Shelvey - Sterling
Suarez
Highly unlikely but I like it.

I think Spearings been awful and Hendo hasnt been great but id throw him back in, Bellamy, Suarez and Maxi front 3 like we had down at Chelsea in the League. Not sure if we've seen it since to be honest. And we didnt have Gerrard that day either. Id like to see it. Maxi deserves a game or two and Suarez clearly likes playing with him and links up well with him, he said so himself and we saw the link up against Stoke.
Going to be a very hard game for us. Hopefully Carra is dropped as he has a negative effect on the defence.
they're a pretty bad team, we will at least draw this ...fingers crossed
Strange how opinions differ, for me Spearing has been one of the few players that has performed recently.

Going by most of the posts in this thread it seems kenny has done what Roy hodgson threatened for so long. Lower expectations of fans to the point of mid table mediocrity acceptance.
I am pretty annoyed at kenny, I think his behavior all season with the media has been disgraceful, his team selections baffling at times, so too are his substitutions and top it off with excuses for underperforming players.
Every paper, every footy internet forum or sports site are all having a right laugh at us and we deserve it, kenny deserves it but if he is going to convince me that he can take this club forward next season and after then it can't be a win today, everythings hunky dory, praise the players and then lose our next one.
I want more or less a win from all of our remaining games. I want to be shown kk can inspire the players like when he took over last year, I want to see the players respond to all the negative press and then and only then can kk be defended and deserve another shot next season. So let's get positive guys, this will be a 4-0 thumping to the reds today and the start of an unbeaten run....I hope.

Well I guess we can expect our first sub to come in the first 5-10 minutes then as I dont think Aurellio will last too long. If Enrique doesnt play I would prefer to see Robbo play there instead.
That's what I'd do with your team aswell tbh, at about 60 minutes swap out Downing for Sterling.
However, you can't guess what Kenny's team is going to be, let's just hope for the win at the end.

Bellamy is still recovering from an injury.....think it's his ankle
There was something in the echo a few day's ago where Kenny said that Agger, Bellamy, and Kelly were all making good progress in their recovery but Agger was likely to be the first back.
I doubt we'll see Maxi either. He has his failings but he's an intelligent player and makes some well timed late runs into the box, also as you say he seems to link up well with Suarez. Kenny doesn't seem to favour him though, even when he was getting the odd game and performed well and even nabbed a goal you knew he would soon be dropped again.
I've given up trying to guess our team, selection has often baffled me. I'm someone who believes that we should have a best starting 11 & that we should only see chopping and changing of that starting 11 in the case of injury, when games are coming thick and fast and maybe a couple of players are truly exhausted, and early stages of domestic cups. But I don't think we've had the same team in even two consecutive games this season & I think that's part of the problem.
Don't know what's going to happen with the game today, the team are not inspiring a lot of confidence in me lately.
Coates for Carra with Skrtel...push the back four up closer to our MDF...thats been our problem with Carra playing..sat too deep giving the opposition too much room to playI just want to see Raheem, Jonjo and Seb get some game time

I think the result, apart from the fact Everton are above us, is pretty irrelevant. We aren't going down, and we aren't finishing higher than where we are.
What I think is important is how Kenny organises the team between now and the end of the season. I don't want to be scratching my head yet again at his team selection, and watching a bunch of players playing unattractive, disjointed football. I want to see some fight and passion from our players, and a decent performance, with nobody playing out of position for a change.
And please, Kenny, don't start Carragher, he's past it.
