The Badge as it is i think is great, why change it?
The current logo is too busy. I would use that on official LFC stuff. However on the kit the liverbird with L.F.C. 1892 will be sufficient. I don't like the 'gate" thingy neither. I think the best logo out there is Arenal's. It's simple and not too busy.What did he say about?

I don't buy kits every since they stopped being original. They all make one design and sell it to 50 teams. The warrior one being an original will be something I will purchase........until they start to do the same.
Ok, so basically there have been a lot of ITK threads over on various Liverpool forums and there seems to be a general consensus as follows:
The home kit will have a 'Y' collar with all gold/yellow writing.
The away kit will be a dark charcoal with red writing and a V neck collar.
The third kit will be purple with amber trim, with white sleeves and a light grey tribal design on them!
The badge will revert to the simple Liverbird with L.F.C beneath it, with the eteral flame being moved to the back of the neck.
There are a few mock ups around, but seeing as I'm a graphic designer and like doing them myself, I thought I'd show you guys what the home and away kit are reported to look like next season (I couldn't bring myself to design the third kit - it sounds horrid!) I've embellished slightly - there isn't gold trim on the collars or seam of the home kit, and the away kit doesn't have pinstripes I think, but THESE are basically them.
I'm not a big fan of collars but if it looks like in my mockup I wont be too displeased, and the reverting to the simpler, less cluttered crest with the flame on the neck is a winner with me too.
What do you guys think?

I know there was a Photoshop Thread, I think Calixto was involved in it as well, the purple one was trotted about, and nope, don't like it. Never going to like seeing us in it at all. Looks better with the darker purple i think, still should just stick to red/white/black for the 3 kits though IMO
I cant see the club changing crest having trade marked it. Some of the images are awful, purple for a third kit?? Why can they keep it very simple

Those kits are really awful to be honest. I hope there not legit

The best kit on earth has got to be Harlequinns Rugby team. They couldn't decide what colour to play in so they used about eight different colours.
My favourite Liverpool kit of recent times is the 2005 home kit simply because it reminds me of that great night in Istanbul.
I'm a collar-lover when it comes to footy shirts. I bought our 1950 FA Cup final shirt from Toffs a few years back - thick white cotton with red cuffs, a red collar with three white buttons, and a huge liver bird badge on the left ***.
My all time favourite is the early-mid 80s away kit - yellow with red pinstripe.
I'd deffo buy the home one because of the collar.
