he would be the 2nd best rb in the world if went to madrid next to alves, i didnt realise how big alonso was when he was at livepool, now look at him one of the best in the world.
in 2 years time we will look at johnson and just think wow we used to have him just like arsanel they must be thinking the same with nasri and fabregas

The first thing that needs to happen for this coming transfer window if for us to stop becoming a feeder club for other so-called "top-tier" clubs. We will never get back into the top 4 if we continue to offload our best talent. It's time to start telling our best players that they are under contract and cannot leave. By all means drop the under achievers that were brought in last year. Surely the players we have, know that we have our sights set higher than 10th in the table. This season is just a speed bump. With a couple of good signings, we can be challenging for top places.
You have jumped the gun. They want Johnson or Walker. They would get more for there money in Walker as he is very young. This could be good though, Johnson for Higuain or Di Maria or Ozil would be a good deal. Plus, Kelly would get more playing time and he will be one of the best fullbacks in the world.

I wouldn't sell him for under 15M. reason: You can't rely on Kelly, he's injured every 3rd game and I don't want to play the half season with Flanno to be honest!!
Only if it is a straight swap for Alonso. No point in getting 15m for him when we would then have to add more of our own money to get another player. Keep Glen.

Probably two seasons ago but not anymore.
Anyway, i would only sell Johnson for above 20M, players of his quality cost at least 20M. I think we have replacement for him, even though obviously not as good, and nowhere near as good as Johnson attacking wise, but a decent amount of money or a player swap (Sahin or Higuain+money from us) would do for me.
Great going forwards, but a terrible defender I am afraid. Any winger would like to be playing against him!

I'd sell him for 15-20m, but only because we could then re-invest it elsewhere in the team.
A lot of Liverpool fans seem to undervalue Johnson, he is fairly solid at the back and very good going forward - the same that could be said for a lot of attacking full backs.
a straight swap for Nuri Sahin or Johnson + 5M for Ozil seems more reasonable.
