Has Rafa come to any of our home matches since new year?

Blackburn is not too far. Will he?

No Kenny's already under too much pressure, Rafa coming would only add to that.

    Carroll

I'm betting big on us to win, first time this season I have felt so genuinely confident. Weird
Funnily I'm also feeling more confident.

The only problem is that when selecting my preffered team I'm kinda caught between two types of setup at the minute, one that involves playing more through the middle and the other which involves more crossing although I suppose what your suggesting does sort of provide à happy medium between the both playing styles.

Play the reserves for this one
Worried about Semis I hate losing to 2 clubs Man Utd and Everton so I want Kenny to keep his starters out of this one. Can't risk a red card or injuries set up for the semis

    Doni
    Johnson skrtle Agger Enrique
    Kuyt Spearing Gerrard Downing
    Suarez Bellamy

If you offered me a draw I'd take it.

For their travel notices Northern Rail should learn the difference betweem 'alternate' and 'alternative'.

Yakubu going to yak all over us

Can't see our player even waking up for this game.

It's all about next Saturday , where we probably going to lose too.

Small steps. We stopped the rot with the draw yesterday, hopefully continue the recovery against Blackburn with a win and then go into Saturdays game with a fit Agger, Johnson and more confidence.

There is no point in Kenny leaving or being sacked before the end of the season.

There is nothing to play for in the league, we have already qualified for Europa.

All that is left to do is to see if Kenny and his team can finish what they started in the FA cup and take stock at the end of the season.

Does Kenny look like a man under pressure?

He's calm about the situation as he knows he has the full backing from the top.

Rafa can come and watch all he likes, hop he enjoys a good match.

I don't know if I would call a home draw against a dreadful Villa "stopping the rot". One would have thought the same when we beat a decidedly poor Everton in the derby some weeks back.

We need a win on Tuesday--any kind of win will be an improvement. Something positive to build on is essential. An away draw or loss would simply be unacceptable.

After three straight league defeats we stopped the rot by not making it four.

I think Enrique needs to be rested. He started the season really well but has gone off form recently. Let's face it, he's started nearly every game.

It's a difficult one. We need our best players to be fit for the weekend, but at the same time, we can't just give up in the league. I don't know. I think I'd go for:

    Flanno---Carra---Coates---Enrique

    Kuyt---Hendo---Shelvey---Maxi

    ________Gerrard

    -------------
    Carroll

    This.
Then I would only swap jones with Doni. we will off course lose 3-0 but at least that way Doni can really train himself before the semi

I think Agger needs to play to get some game time before Saturday, that's if he is going to play.

Would Kenny play Carra instead on Saturday because of the occasion?

Don't want to see players rested for this match, maybe except Gerrard, and definitely don't want a reprise of Bolton.
Apart from Bellers they should all be capable of playing 2 matches in 5 days.

This one should be taken seriously, as every match should.
This bad habit of not showing up for certain matches ENDS NOW.

In all honesty I wouldn't risk Gerrard for this one. Maybe carra too.

    Doni
    Flanno
    Skrtel (c)
    Coates
    Robinson
    Kuyt
    Spearing
    Henderson
    Downing
    Carroll
    Bellamy

    Gerrard, Suarez, agger, on bench

12am. Just out of curiosity, where are you located/from?

Just a strange way of saying midnight.

Rest Suarez, Gerrrard, Agger, Bellamy (meaning keep on bench)

    Play

    Doni
Flanagan, Skrtl, Coates, Robinson (or Enrique)
    Downing, Shelvey, Henderson, Maxi
    Carroll, Kuyt

Sure we want the points, but we want the Semi final win more. The above side is good enough to stand up for the shirt.
