He's been linked with us the last few years. The fact he is 28 means that he won't have much sell on value and thus doesn't fit FSG's requirements, so immediately I'd have to doubt the substance of the story, that being said, if Kenny genuinely wants him though, then sure, decent player.
I agree that we should be signing south americans, and although hes a good winger he is 28, doubt we would sign him but we signed downing when he was 26 so clearly if kenny can convince the owners he thinks he could be a good buy then perhaps it could happen, if kenny is still here that is

I think it would be irresponsible to buy a 28 year old who's never played in the PL. But then again it all depends on how much we pay for him, keeping in mind that he'll have very little resale value at the end of a possible Anfield tenure
Quality left side player. He can play as winger, wing back and even as left back, could be a good alternative to both Stewie Downing and Jose Enrique. Furthermore he's relatively young, has still 4-5 years to play at high level.

Nah sorry not young he's in his peak, better to sign players 23-26 for our side, like we did with agger, skrtel, johnson, enrique, reina etc....
Anyway he's good bit like riise in that he can left back or left wing, powerful shot, but he's had some problems with his weight and fitness, if we have to sign anyone from fiorentina why not jovetic?
