Barcelona should be far to strong for Chelsea, but the other tie is much harder to call; I think many would want an El Clasico final; although I hope both teams stop their pathetic play acting and shenanigans. But then again Bayern could surprise Real and like you say be "galvanised" for a final at their home ground, something that would certainly be a leveller against Barca.

My prediction though: Barca v Real.

i am going to go for Barca-Bayern.
Bayern is REal's bogey team and they have a real chance. I also think UEFA will be quite concerned at the possiblity of both set of Barca-Madrid fan meeting in Munich.

Going to be boring and predict an El Classico final, I don't see Bayern beating Madrid and I most certainly do not see Chelsea beating Barca over 2 legs.

Firstly: You think that UEFA may try and influence the Bayern v Real match?

Secondly: I always think that if two sides from the same country are likely to meet, and their rivalry is intense, then they should have provisions in place to move the game to that country, IMO.

I don't think UEFA would be a fan of two teams from the same country meeting in the final, it has happened before though and they are the two best teams in the world.
Personally i don't believe in compiracy theories so not don't think UEFA would try to do anything, what happens is that sometimes some referees (and Webb is a good example) tend to make some decissions that they believe UEFA/FIFA likes.

Or Ovrebo & the linesmen turning down three stonewall penalties for Chelsea so there wouldn't be another United/Chelsea final...

I think UEFA would be perturbed about the logistical aspect of them meeting in the final, but at least they don't have to go as far as Moscow; where Chelsea and Untied met, imagine if we had got there to play Man Utd?
