Johnson. 7 Looked good until went off.
Skrtl 7. Terminator. Great pass for the first goal.
Coates. 7. Composed, clever and great pass for last goal. Must play over Carra.
Flanno. 4. Poor game. He's young.
    Spearing 6. Not bad. Worked.
Shelvey. 7. Patchy but worked hard and attacks bravely. Created our second.
Henderson. 8. Looked good early, moved to RB and performed heroics and still attacked. What an effort.
Maxi. 8. MOTM All he does is score goals. Very clever player and should play the semi.
Bellamy. 5. He was a pain in the ass all game. Arguing, making poor decisions but did work hard and set up first. No discipline.
Carroll 5. Horrible performance of sheer laziness until he did something right at the end.
    Subs
    Enrique. 6. Did ok.
Agger. 7. heroics for the Carroll goal and attacked non stop.

Crazy game. My head is splitting.
You either didn't watch the game, or have no knowledge of football. (Harsh but true)

Jones made a mistake for the pen, but how can a GK save a pen and get 5?

Spearing was like a man posessed. He knows himself that he's not a Lucas or a Mascherano, but every time the ball went out wide, Spearing was there helping to cover. He also allowed Shelvey to get forward whenever he could.

Maxi scored twice, but wasn't Liverpools MOTM IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see him play saturday, but he done very little else after his second goal.

Bellamy was our best outball for most of the night, yes he argues, but he works hard and put a brilliant ball in for Maxi

Carroll - The one that angered me the most. 5? This lad ran his socks off ALL NIGHT. Did you not notice how many defensive clearances he made, and how he was running back and forth all the time. He held the ball up well, and kept posession. Just a minute before he scored, we were saying how it was disappointing that he didn't get his reward because he'd hard worked all night.

You are typical of the Sky Sports generation of fans, who listen to the media and general perception and don't bother to form your own opinion.

Carroll has been disappointing by his own admission at times - but credit where it's due.

Andy was completely at fault for the first goal, he was man marking the Yak and when the ball was played in he ran away from him. In the 88th minute we had a massive attack on and of the 4 players in the final third Andy was nowhere to be found, he was in our half that's not where your 9 should be trying to win a game. It was a good finish on the goal, I'm delighted for him but that doesn't change what I consider to be another unremarkable performance overall.

On a positive I thought Seb had a great game, really composed with some game time this kid is going to be awesome I hope he gets it.

I'm delighted for Brad Jones too, all power to him I really hope he becomes the hero on the semi I can't think of anyone more deserving!
We use a mix of Zonal and man marking. Yakubu was Glen's man. Andy tends to hang near the centre but runs toward the front post to prevent any front post flick ons.

Doni 5 - Didn't have an awful lot to do up until flanno's ***** pass back to him and he had no other option but to go for it.
Jones 6 - Did well, saved a peno - bit of a howler for Blackburns 2nd goal...
    Johnson. 7 Did well
Skrtel 8 Absolute class ball to bellers for Maxi's 1st
Coates. 7 Did well - must be above Carra in the pecking order now
Flanno. 3. - Made mistakes and was responsible for Doni's Red, but he's only young
    Spearing 7 Did well
Shelvey. 7 Class performance by the young man
Henderson. 8. Better at the start but when we went down to 10 men he had to play out of position
Maxi. 8. Dodododododododododo Maxi Maxi Rodríguez runs down the wing for me! Positioning is superb and never disappoints me
Bellamy. 7 great run from Skrtel's pass and set up Maxi's 1st
Carroll 7 One of his better performances in a red shirt and did what was needed at the end!
Enrique. 6 Did alright when he came on!
Agger. 7 Amazing when he came on! Glad he's back

    Meffs, proper scouse word lol

Doni - 6 - weak sending off which should not have been, couldn't do much about the headre and was having a decent game !!

Flanno - 5 - A game he will want to forget about and probably already has

Skrtel - 7 generally good but always better with Agger

Coates 6 - Decent game but at times out of position and some clumsy tackles.

Johnson 6 - more about match fitness, not bad but got caught out by Hoillet a few times and we didn't see him getting forward as much he does on the right.

Henderson 8 - Had a good game and stepped up when asked, was a mature, confident and solid performance after he started quite badly which is a good sign.

Jay 6 - usual from Jay covers well but always seems to burn off more energy than he needs like some sort of crazy young puppy chasing a ball.

Maxi 8 - 2 goals and overall good play, second finish was excellent and something we have needed all season. Got involved in many moves going forward but quieter in the second half

Bellamy 7 - looks like he is still trying to get back into things but made some good runs and set up the goals and a good performance overall, nice to see him back

Jonjo 9 - I was impressed for the first time, did well in the last game but today at AM with freedom showed some great stuff, i'd like to see him more often in this position. Did well when we went to 10 men and he was deeper as well

Carroll 7 - did what was required as a lone target man and got his goal, some good moments but still always looks bad around the box, I wish he could be a bit more accurate with his flick ons as well.

Agger 7 - Pure class and did well

Enrique 6 - Came in and did what was required, as nver going to get much chance to get forward with 10 men though

Jones 7 - Great Pen save and a great moment for him personally, he did well all considered.

Was a good win but the sending off killed us but to then win the game was very good.
