I love reading these things when I get back from the game. At no point in that game did I think Everton were on top or even deserving of their lead and , barring accidents, I knew we'd be at least back in it at the 90. The only thing Everton won was the 2nd ball from our clearances and that ended when they ran out of energy and our class showed.

We were the underdogs against Everton, we'll be underdogs against whoever we face.
I want Chelsea too, because they'll be focussing on the Champions League.
Our possession in the 2nd half was almost total, some beautiful one-touch stuff and when they got the ball there was always someone 'picking their pocket'. That kind of pressure sapped the will out of the Blues. They must have felt it was only a matter of time. I don't blame online fans too much, its easier to deal with the stresses if you are there and are sharing it with the'red army'.
We have been striving for this kind of play all season. Better late than never.

I quite like the idea of using Maxi as an impact sub for the last 20-30 minutes, thats about how long he lasts for before he stops tracking back.

Both Chelsea and Tottenham would sacrifice the FA Cup to concentrate on getting Champions League.
However Chelsea have more to do in the league to get it, so I think we'd have more of an advantage.

That's the problem, Maxi could get two or three goals a game, but he ends up going missing after he has scored a goal or two
Yep, hence why i think the last 2-30 minutes are the best time for him, by the time his legs hurt/he has cramp/he gets tired, or whatever the reason is, the game is over.

Only just come on this! What a day yesterday was, we always have to make it hard but in the end, it's so much better winning that way! Lots of bittertonians I know went home straight after the match. So so so so happy! Suarez makes me so happy he said in the paper he'd of done the same thing he did for Uruguay in the world cup for us in that game. Knowing that he loves Liverpool nearly as much as he loves Uruguay(who he loves so much) is amazing! Made up big Andy scored aswell, that one goal was worth 35 million

Getting to 2 Cup Finals is a great achievement, after not so long ago, nearly going out of business.
Some people can see the bigger picture, about the rebuilding job required at the club, and the fact these things take time.
This forum has gone down hill recently, too many people come on here to have a pop at Liverpool F.C.
They don't like seeing Liverpool in Cup Finals, it shows our club, is one of the best in the world, with some of the best supporters.
I just wish most of the people on here love the club a tenth as much.

He holds the midfield. He is a great tackler. Don't know about his shooting.Passing is decent. Not spectacular but he hits some nice passes. Worth his place in the side while there is no Lucas..

Does anybody feel sorry for Distin? I'm not asking if you feel sorry for Everton, just Distin. I mean, that's what he will be remembered for for the rest of his Everton career.
Would Carra have been remembered for his mistake if Everton had won ?

In a perfect world I'd agree with you.
However this is not a perfect world. Maxi in my opinion should be given more starts on the right.
Bellamy however has bad knees is in his 30's and has had a few bad injuries. If he was physically able to play back to back games then yes he should start however he isnt and I am more than happy to have him as an impact sub when defenders are getting tired.
