Nice. My wife is from Houston and a massive Stros fan, we see a few games at Minute Maid every year, usually Cards/StrosMinute Maid is gorgeous, almost as nice as the new Busch
I love aerial photos of the stadium district in Houston, the once great Dome looks almost silly next to MM, Reliant, Toyota, and the convention center!
Paul is now manager of my shoddy home team, the Austin Aztex, I plan on taking the fam to all the home matches this year.
I used to go to Fado a lot before my son was born, now I watch most games at home. Strange enough, I spend a lot of time at Fado still, my band plays Lucky Lounge a lot so I always grab a couple pints there before shows.
For the price of the tickets to the Aztex games I might as well see as many as possible for the boy's sake (hes 4 and crazy for football already).
Nice ! I've got an 8 year old who plays and loves sporting her Liverpool shirts to school (#8's her fav). And a 4 yr old who recently uttered the sacrilegious words "I Like Light Blue" when he saw Man City the other day.![]()

House Park will be rockin' this summer... a colleague of mine who's a ManU fan was grumbling how he doesn't want to do the "Dalglish" chant at the stadium. Too bad, he's just gonna have to deal with it.![]()
Haha! He'll deal with it alright! I played many a HS lacrosse games in House Park, if Paul's "Liverpool Way" coaching philosophy works out we could see some decent stuff from these scrubs, hopefully we can get the joint rockin. I wasnt ever impressed with the crowds at the previous Aztex matches though, hopefully more folks will come out this season.
As for the light blue, deal with that quickly, we dont need a young wave of Citeh supporters mucking up Texas![]()
I hope the red socks get sold and liverpool get a few extra players with the cash.
It has to be the Red Sox for me. They are by no means my favorite team, but I hate the Yankees, so this is a no brainer. For me it's the Cubs (yes, I know they are pathetic) and if anyone doesn't have a team they pull for or they think baseball is boring then you need to go check out a game in the bleachers at Wrigley Field. Ten years ago I went and I was instantly hooked. I have to warn you though, a lot of heartache comes with it![]()
I'm from NY, so Yankees!!
don't like rounders
I've been to both stadiums! Red sox in 04 and Yankees in 07! I still have my red sox glove but can't find my Yankee top so I'll go for the red sox!
I despise Red Sox and their owners so Yankees for me.
I could never like the Yankees in a million years as they're the US equivalent of Man Utd. Dodgers all the way!
I hope to one day live in the US so I've decided I'm gonna start following the Baseball, NFL, NHL etc. I love New York so I'd probably say the NY Yankees. Although I'll have a soft spot for Mr Henry's team.
