They have to still be here, but no one can access them. If a post gets deleted and you get infracted for it you have no idea that you have been infracted.

Nothing to do with rep.

Infractions and rep are not the same thing. Infractions relate to the conduct of the individual poster whilst rep is really just rep, or the general consensus of a poster in question.

Well, you didn't need to bring in homophobic comments. Insulting the other poster in addition to the homophobic comment = homophobic abuse
