Just read the Liverpool Echo report on the game. Unsurprising, obviously, but it was a fine, fact filled and fair report. Leagues above the bile spewed by the Mail / Independent, who like to give as much focus to undermining Liverpool, its players and manager as much as possible.

It must've been fantastic at Wembley.
Merseyside did itself proud yesterday. Rolled back the years in many ways, for me.

Some Everton fans didn't do the City of Liverpool proud, but in general it was a great atmosphere.

Certainly was great, thought my eardrums were gonna burst when Carroll scored!
Any idea how of the criteria for the final - members with 5 cup matches - should get in shouldnt we?

Everton and Rangers will play against each other at the end of the season as part of the Jelavic deal. It's been billed as "El Brassico!!"
