Starting line up was wrong, Carra starting was an awful decision as was to play Henderson on the right wing today. Playing Enrique and Kuyt instead of Carra and Hendo we would of won the game more comfortably.

But credit to KK for not taking off Carroll when it was looking like it was not going to be Andy's day with those easy chances missed. KK stuck with big Andy and it paid off with him netting the winner with a sublime header!

We won the game. Credit where credit is due. Kenny and the players don't deserved to be criticised. We win and lose as a team. Therefore Kenny deserves a 10.

Carra deserves more than a 4, Agger could have and should've cleared that ball so it's not entirely Carra's fault. It's equally their fault not just one of them. He had a few clearances but more importantly he was his normal commanding self. He deserves a 6.

Starting line up was wrong yes I agree. Hendo & Shelvey were no brainers to start in CM but otherwise he threw Hendo on the right and kept Jonjo on bench yet again. Which was a big reason why we struggled in 1st half IMO.

Unfair on Carroll I thought he was every bit as good as Suarez today. Worked as hard and had the same impact or possibly more of one as he could of had a few goals and was getting in the right positions and doing the right things. Thought Henderson deserved a 7 also but other than and the Kenny one, spot on IMO.

Just got back from the game, average first half, great second.

Jones 7 His kicks are surprisingly excellent and made some good catches.
Johnson 7 Looked decent, better defensively than he usually is, poor crossing tho.
Agger 6.5 Dominant in the air but looked out of place at left back.
Carra 3 Almost cost us the game, absolutely horrific mistake.
Skrtel 7 Was fine but made some silly fouls.
Henderson 4 Was boring, useless and just isn't a winger, full stop.
Downing 8 Looked lightning quick, average first half, excellent 2nd. Put one on a plate and had arguably the best left back in the league in his pocket.
Spearing 7 Looked decent as usual.
Gerrard 6.5 Below average game for Gerrard, should never be played BEHIND Spearing, why the heck was he? Should be as close to the forwards as possible.
Suarez 8.5 MoTM Looked average until his goal which he took so well and then after that was the world class player I know he is capable of being.
Carroll 7.5 Would give him a 5 be it not for the goal but i'm not complaining he won us the game in the end altho it should have been over much earlier had he converted that sitter.

Bellamy 6.5 Excellent delivery for the goal, not enough time to judge.
Maxi 6.5 Should have scored but looked lively and did more than Hendo did in far less time.

What I mean is that Kenny could should have had a much better selection to start the game with, and that I didn't really trust the team we started with at first to get a good result. Which's why I'm crediting the players with the win. Got it ?

Wouldn't disagree hugely with that. A 7 for Henderson, possibly. And an 8 for Carroll for making me lose my voice. Maybe a 6 for Stevie, felt he wasn't great today.

Oh, and a 3 for my bartender, who forgot about my lunch, but a 10 for the establishment for not making me pay for it as a result!

From what I got to see of the game (was being dragged about by a 2 yr old most of the afternoon) thought the team played well over all. Even in the first half it was only the mistake by Carra and Agger (yeah BOTH were at fault, not just Carra, first rule of defending clear the ball from the danger area!), apart from that we looked in control.

Having 3 at the back against a team like Everton wasn't a bad shout IMO, as we need to control the ball in the middle of the park to allow Suarez and Carroll to cause problems further up field. Also having players like Bellamy and Maxi to come off the bench helped us keep the momentum going right til the end.

Can't agree with you more, wrong selection but credit to the King for keeping Andy on. Would give Andy maybe half more, 7.5.
