Pathetic !!!
It was a huge game for the city and the country but they treated it like it was second rate.
They bought the rights to show the game, but there was no replay or anything after full time.

Sharpe looked like a beever who had chewed a wasp at the end
I recorded it.
That blonde irish guy was *********** me off he was like "Lets evaluate the key tactical battles" OH SHUT UP![]()
I thought ESPN do well with their football coverage, they have good commentators and good pundits and they employ Barnes which is brilliant. But my stream cut off, I don't think they showed any replays or analysis at the end of the game. Is that what you mean? Maybe they just didn't have time.
I don't get it.
Back across the pond espn shows games correct?
The games espn show over there we see over here on espn!
The games sky show over there we see on fox soccer!
The games setanta show there we see on fox soccer plus!
So why did we see today's game on fox soccer, while ye saw it on espn![]()
I'm pretty sure they did show some replays. I actually thought they did a good job.
Not mad on the commentators or more specifically Craig Burley though. But I definitely didn't think they did a bad job.
I thought they did a good job, waddle aside. At full time sky or itv would go straight to a break, but espn stayed with the fans and interviews
ESPN stayed on for about 35/40mins after the match and showed countless replays?
My gripe would be the fact they don't have a studio as standing on the side of the pitch looks very amateurish.
Barnsey waving at someone in the crowd at full time during the 'dissection' was so so funny
They had an hour and a half of build-up to the match - which made it feel like Cup Final day itself. Although I saw at the end that on Cup Final day they will be live from 8am! Given the kick-off isn't til 5.15pm that's got to be one of the biggest build-ups to a match in history?!
They also said they will be ad-free from 4.45 until after the trophy lift - which has to make them far more attractive than ITV. Quite glad I bought ESPN for the month now.
