Who are Real United?
Hopefully as Champions of England to at some point.
Now, THAT would be what is truly special about being in the European Cup again.
Be patient, we'll get there.
If you say so.
Not for a long time yet
Lets forget big talk anyway, our only focus when going in to next season should be winning the first league game, that's it.
No title talk, no top 4 talk, no CL talk, no bold predictions, no ************ chat about doing this and doing that, everyone just have one expectation, to beat X on the opening day and then we move on.
We talk to much at this club from top to bottom and we need to quit the chat and the dreaming and start actually doing and making the dreams reality. I want the league title and challenging for it season after season more than the CL but i know what is needed to get to that standard again and it isn't big talk as a club and pounding our chests about 1990.
We won't ever see Real Madrid, Barca, Juventus etc again if we don't solely focus on what is actually important, not top 4, not where we need to be in May, not what we'll do and need to do, just beating team X and moving on to week 2 with 3 points in August, that's ACTUALLY how you get to have those nights again.
Less big chat in public from all of us, more doing and then chatting about that instead, plenty of things to discuss all round without the need to chat **** about what we'd love to see come May and the following season and forgetting that we have to win those little things called matches every week to get there.
My only prediction for next season will be for that first game, i'm done with making anything more than that, ************ chat is banned for me, aside from general hopes of what i want to see for this club.
Swings and Roundabouts, dear fellows (and ladies), Swings and Roundabouts.
Our time will come again and when it does, it will feel all the sweeter, having suffered for as long as we have.
I honestly couldn't be arsed listing the hundreds of terrible, childish knee jerk posts from you
If you actually think you're a good, sane or valuable poster then i just dont know what to say
Im sure you'll crawl out of the woodwork with a few more gems if we lose to Norwich at the weekend anyway

UNITY is KEY
What I hate though, is when we win like two games in a row and people are like; "Top four is ours!!!!" And then WHAM we lose the next match, and the match after that...
If we win, I want to be happy with that win, and then concentrate on the next game and only that game. Does that remind you of a Kenny post match interview? Listen to him guys...
I hope we will be back soon, for a team of our stature to not be playing in the champions league is not acceptable. Weve won the damn thing almost as much as the rest of english football put together. and stand 3rd in terms of all time winners behind Real and AC MIlan. Im happy to be patient as long as we are seeing league progression, however this season has not shown that.
Im still with Kenny though and hope he has a free reign on who is signed in the summer. We simply have to start progressing next season in terms of league form. I cant see us getting in the Champions league places, but I can see us challenging for them, providing we get a couple of top class players in the summer. It will be interesting to see what pulling power we have in the summer in terms of top players, as having finished so badly this season in the league, this might be affected. But with potential 2 cups won, im hoping this will out trump our league form.
Liverpool football club is a worlwide institution, a huge club which is well structured in terms of finances, business nous, with a fantastic brand. We need worldwide support/money to drive us forward, to enable us to pay to pay top dollar for the best players we can get, which is why i get frustrated at the narrow mindness of the oot's barracking brigade. Every supporter counts towards the coffers, whether they live 3 or 3000 miles away.
I was jumping for joy, with the league trophy dazzling my eyes when i heard Kenny had been re appointed. I still trust the guy to do us proud. He wont be happy with this seasons league debacle, but I trust him more than anyone to sort it out, and he deserves that after the cup performances of this year. I just hope he signs some quality in the summer, our current crop try their best, but sometimes, some players just arent good enough. it isnt their fault, its just a fact of life, not every player holds the ability of a messi or a ronaldo.
So heres to a great Dalglish fuelled future!

I also found this one, Tom Hanks fights The Fonz, which is brilliant

No that doesnt really do it justice........ you jerk so much after a defeat I'd swear you where having a bout of Parkinsons.
Great poster..... but your first few posts after a defeat are generally very very amusing....... in a Basil Fawlty "gets angry" kind of way........ I always look out for them![]()
UNITY is helpful but a WINNING Mentality is what counts when it gets tough. We currently lack this key element in the Team's make-up.
Reviving a winning mentality in the squad is Kenny's biggest job for the next year. It's drifted very badly since Xmas and it's only just about available for one-offs like Cup competitions. This team is certainly good enough to win the FA Cup Final on a one-off basis.
But going forward to next year it's classic Catch22 as only by winning games can he foster a winning mentality - and even the average players we have in the squad will show a different quality if that happens.
The team has lacked confidence but mostly it is missing a nasty edge - too many nice boys when we what we desperately need is serious men with a ruthless winning streak and a hardened attitude to getting the job done at any cost.
Everyone knows the kind of player we're talking about as we have had them here before - and they were the ones that made the difference.
Erm, no, we challenged for the title once in 08/09, not in a few successive seasons at all.
Last time we challenged year in year out was when Kenny was last manager, that was the last time we were truly feared in the league.
Only thing that happened recently was we established ourselves back in Europe and were feared for 3 or 4 years, but in the league we weren't really feared at all and small sides still came to Anfield and beat us or drew, plus on their own patch aswell.
In fact, this has been happening since the 90s, it's why we've only challenged properly for the league twice in 21 years.
I hate you for being so sensible I can't even argue with you anymore!
You took the words right outta my mouth with this post: WE do TALK TOO MUCH! We'll beat so and so, we are this, that and the other! Yet when you look at our performances and the fact we haven't been English champs for yonks, there is something QUITE amiss there!
Thanks for this mate
