Not if Stuart Pearce is the manager.

Someone needs to tell him to wind his neck in. Or give him a good slap. Who the **** is he to start mouthing off over which currently injured players (Adam and Wlitshire were his main examples) and other players will or will not be going to the Olympics? And saying he might pick the Eurp 2012 squad before the end of the season when this has never happened before? Surly Arry will want to pick the squad? Well it seems the FA agree as they said this wont happen.

Pearce is a cocky little **** who needs to be knocked down a peg or 2. And anyway he isnt even that good of a manager. God help us in the Olympics.

Who do you think will win it - Germany
Who will be top scorer - Villa if he plays always a good shout. Gomez otherwise as Germany always seem to get goals in the group stages
Who will be player of the tournament - Oezil
Who will be worth 1 million before the tournament and 20 million after it - Can't think of anybody that's worth 1m! Let's say Tello or Cuenca

To be honest i quite like him, i may have questionmarks over his football knowledge but id rather have him than the usual old men we normally get.

If you watched the under-21's you might think differently. I watched them at the U-21 Euros last year where they bored their way to 2 draws and a defeat.

That's fair enough but I really didnt like his comments over Adam and Wilshere. He came across as very argumentative over the pair of them. Wilshere hasnt played all season yet he arrogantly tells Wenger he will decide wether to pick him or not but more importantly he said the same with Adam. Very disrespectful of him to be telling the clubs of 2 injuried players wether they will or won't be picked.

Who will be top scorer - Mario Gomez
Who will be player of the tournament - Mario Götze or Bastian Schweinsteiger
Who will be worth 1 million before the tournament and 20 million after it - Robert Lewandowski..maybe he's worth more than a 10M as we speak, but I feel he may have a good tournament and be worth 20M.

These international tournaments seem to have teams that have a run of final appearances and wins....France, Spain, Italy and Germany have all won this tournament and the world cup in successive years (i think, well the germans have appeared in finals). Right now Spain are reigning supreme as current holders of both having just beaten Holland in the last world cup. I have an inkling it could be the start of something for this Dutch team who have some excellent players who are all on form at the minute. They are in a tough group with Denmark, Germany and Portugal however I think they have enough at atleast get out of it. From there they play the winners or runners up of Group A which comprises the Czech's, Poland, Russia and Greece. Again I think they have enough to beat either of those. Anything can then happen from the semi's onwards. They are my pick to win it. Hopefully against Ireland in the final.

I fancied Belgium but they didn't even qualify! With the likes of hazard mertens lukaku fellani witsel vermalen and kompany I thought they would of been surprising underdogs but no .

Don't rule England out. We could go far, this isn't based on blind optimism but the last few times big tournaments we're held in Europe.

If you can remember Euro 96 we probably shoudl have won it having home advantage and we outplayed Germany for long spell. Lost on pens.

Then you have France 98, even down to 10 men Argentina couldn't beat us. Again went out on pens.

Then in Germany once again even when down to 10 men Portugal couldn't beat us in normal time or extra and again we suffered on penalties.

The colder climate suits English tempo. We'll be able to press, pressure and play at a tempo others may struggle to match. Now if we can just avoid getting a man sent off and pens.

Seen as the Euro's are held in Europe, atleast 2/3 big tournaments will be held there.

England have as much chance of winning as Andy Carroll does of getting a hatrick for Liverpool. The golden generation has aged but havent been replaced. And those that have come in arent exactly quality players. This is probably one of the weakest and oldest squads in years.

The FA have approached Hodgson for England.

Wow. Didnt see that one coming. He wont be turning that down in a hurry.

Oh well, theres always the World Cup.

Win: Spain remain favourites, but Germany are close.
Top Scorer: Mario Gomez, if played instead of Klose.
Player of tournament: Bastian Schweinsteiger, if Germany win, otherwise a Spanish player, probably Andres Iniesta.
Increasing his worth: maybe one of the talented Dutch strikers.

It's no surprise we struggled in Japan and South Africa. The climate and humidity doesn't suit our high tempo pressing game. The same can be said from the boys from Brazil, never won in Europe.

Your having a laugh with first comment.

And I think you will find that eastern europe gets a lot of nice hot weather in summer time.....not really as suitable as you think to the English climate.

Roy needs players players playing for him in a rigid formation and conversely what England have are overpaid stars with overinflated ego

Who do you think will win it - Germany if Spain don't turn it on in the latter stages
Who will be top scorer - Toss up between Mario Gomez and Benzema. Villa's worth a shout if he plays.
Who will be player of the tournament - Ozil or Robben
Who will be worth 1 million before the tournament and 20 million after it - Not sure, can't remember who plays for which country right now

Yeah they get a little sun but it's the humidity of South Africa and Japan that hurt us. If it reaches close to 20 by 6pm I'd be surprised.

Of course I'm not having a laugh Greece have won it, Denmark have won it. The problem may be the gruelling English season as much as anything else.

In both wins for Denmark and Greece they're players had domestically been used sparingly in the main.

But if Greece can win it, you can't suggest England have no chance.
