"I said when I had the chat with the chairman (Huw Jenkins) the other day, when I told him I was going to go to Liverpool, that Gylfi came to Swansea because I was there as manager.

The Daily Mail is suggesting that Clint Dempsey could be Brendan Rodgers' first signing for Liverpool.
According to the paper Dempsey 'has only one year remaining on his contract and the American forward is set to quit Craven Cottage.
He is also a target for Arsenal and could be available for just £4m.
Rumours are rodgers is going to use his links with mourinho to snap up nurit sahin. Now he would be perfect for us.

Mancini eyes Coloccini, Agger and Luiz to bolster Manchester City defence
According to the Mirror, a primary target is Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini.
The Argentinian has just signed a new four-year contract, but Mancini will be hoping that a pay-rise and the lure of Champions League football will be sufficient to tempt him to the Etihad.
If the bid to sign Coloccini falls through, Mancini will turn his attention to either Liverpool's Daniel Agger, or Chelsea's David Luiz.

We need to sign Sigurdsson. Brendan will get it done I believe. Multi-talented and young and personally known by BR. He'll be excellent for years to come.

Why would Richards be available? City have two quality right backs who are competing for the first eleven and I think they are happy with them both.
They want Collocini because they want to replace Savic who has been awful for them. If the rumours are true that is,
If that was true, that would be a terrible signing for Chelsea imo. Would be another SWP signing.
