Ok, I keep seeing all these unrealistic transfer ideas on these message boards so thought even though I'm only 13 I would have a go at one myself. Right I'm sure everyone agrees that last season was pretty much a disaster and we need to do some serious strengthening of the playing squad this summer.

In my opinion this would currently be our strongest XI atm if everyone was fit and able to play...

    ---------------------------- Reina -------------------------------

    Johnson ----------- Agger ------ Skrtel ------------ Enrique

    --------------------- Lucas -------- Gerrard -------------------

    Bellamy ------------------- Suarez ---------------- Downing

    ----------------------------- Carroll ----------------------------

    Bench:
    Doni
    Carragher
    Kelly
    Aquilani
    Adam
    Henderson
    Maxi

Before we get into the buying, these are my ideas for selling:

JAY SPEARING - Liverpool through and through but not of standard needed, still young though so someone would be interested - 5m max

CHARLIE ADAM - People would say another season to prove himself but we could replace him with someone with more pace and leave the passing to Stevie, also its too bigger club for him and I think we could sell him on to an established but lesser Prem side - 8m

MAXI RODRIGUEZ - A faithful servant even when rarely played but he is getting on a bit and is not the flying, tricky winger needed - 5m though for a smaller club would be a bargain

JOE COLE - I don't know how well he did at Lille but I don't think this is the right club for him. Maybe Lille losing Hazard, would want him permanently? - 5m

ALBERTO AQUILANI - Same as Cole I don't know how he did out on loan at Milan and similarly as well I'm not really sure he fits in here. Shame because he is a quality player and I would love to see him stay but I don't believe it will happen and I would rather sell him than just keep loaning him out, I'm sure some team in Italy would take him - 15m possibly

    TOTAL: 38M

    LOANS DEALS:

SEBASTIAN COATES: Can mature into a great presence in defence but in the glimpses seen last season he looked a bit shaky at this level, which is fair enough considering he came from Uruguay.

JON FLANAGAN: Another talent not quite ready yet a season on loan wouldn't do any harm.

JACK ROBINSON: Same as Flanagan can become great if gets some experience.

Now we have got that out of the way we can talk about the buying...

I believe that the positions in which we need to improve on the depth and quality of the squad are:

    ANOTHER DECENT CENTRE-BACK
    BACKUP LEFT BACK
    BACKUP CDM
    HIGHER QUALITY CM
    PLAYMAKER
    WINGERS
    GOALSCORER OR TWO

I know it isn't very realistic to think we could get players in all these positions and of a sufficient quality but these are some ideas for who we could possibly go for.....

    CENTRE-BACK:

MATIJA NASTASIC 19 years old - Fiorentina and Serbia - Promising, future world class defender, good in the air and on the deck and isn't slow either. Fiorentina wont want to sell him cheap but if we could get him he would sure up the defence for years to come, perhaps would cost a little bit but ten years would more than pay that back, he would also attract interest so we would be able to sell him on for a decent profit. COST: 10-15M

ANGELO OGBONNA 24 years old - Torino and Italy - He is 6ft 2in and extremely good in the air and also he is tremendously strong and dominates against all kinds of forwards. Another thing he has is pace and would beat most attackers in a foot race. Torino have only just been promoted back into Serie A so its not like he is at a bigger club. Will be at the Euros so will gain interest so we may have to act quickly. COST: 10M

DEJAN LOVREN 22 years old - Lyon and Croatia - He is young but experienced having started professionally at 16 and has potential to be a future captain. Lyon are only in the Europa league this year so Champions league would be no incentive to stay there. COST: 10M

    BACKUP LEFT-BACK:

MARTIN OLSSON 24 years old - Blackburn and Sweden - Blackburn have been relegated and anyone would rather stay in the Prem instead of dropping down a division, so we would have no trouble getting him though we may be stuck with his brother as well. COST: 5M max

    BACKUP CDM:

MOHAMED DIAME 24 years old - Unattached and Senegal - I know this lad has been talked about a bit and would of course be on a free transfer so I would certainly take him as cover. COST: FREE

SEYDOU KEITA 32 years old - Barcelona and Mali - Very experienced and loyal player and for that reason may not want to leave Barca but as he is behind Busquets and co. in the pecking order and also getting towards the end of his career he may want a last challenge so for that reason we could maybe get him and he wouldn't be too bad a signing. COST: 5M max

    HIGHER QUALITY CM:

DAVID ALABA 19 years old - Bayern Munich and Austria - A young versatile midfielder who can attack and defend efficiently and can also play at left-back so could cover for Enrique. Has everything and still very young which means he has time to develop into one of the worlds top players. COST: 10-15M

AXEL WITSEL 23 years old - Benfica and Belgium - This guy can do pretty much anything, he is good at the back and at the other end of the pitch and because of his height is also a danger in the air. Still young as well which is another good thing, one problem may be that he has only had one season at Benfica so they may not want to sell him yet. COST: 15-20M

RASMUS ELM 24 years old - AZ Alkmaar and Sweden - Last season was in the form of his life and has already been linked with us, he is a great set piece taker so would replace Adam well. He is also renowned for being a goalscoring midfielder, exactly what we need. He wouldn't coat to much either. COST: 10M

RADJA NAINGGOLAN 24 years old - Cagliari and Belgium - I don't much about him apart from he is a tough all-rounder with many sides to his game, and in a stronger team will become very impressive. COST 5-10M

KEVIN STROOTMAN 22 years old - PSV Eindhoven and Netherlands - A top all round player who can play any pass in the book and has a great never give up attitude. Just 22 so will get better with age and if the opportunity comes along to get this guy we need to take it. COST: 20M

    PLAYMAKER:

YOUNES BELHANDA 22 years old - Montpellier HSC and Morocco - I'm a real fan of him and would be extremely happy if we could get him. Has become more attacking throughout the last season or two and it was him who really orchestrated Montpellier winning the french title. A tricky player who can play 'In the hole' and causes defences all sorts of problems, would be a great buy. COST: 15-20M

GEORGINIO WIJNALDUM 21 years old - PSV Eindhoven and Netherlands - The Netherlands are producing some real talents at the moment and this lad is another. His dribbling is outstanding, even Messi would have trouble matching him in that department. He also possesses great pace and would be perfect to fit in behind the strikers. COST 15-20M

ALAN DZAGOEV 21 years old - CSKA Moscow and Russia - Tricky, agile and slick this guy is seriously good and maybe young though is already pretty experienced having played well over 100 games for CSKA. I would be ecstatic if we could get him.
    COST: 15-20M

ISCO 20 years old - Malaga CF and Spain - He is a real talent and at only 20 will become world class, all the better to get him now then before his price rockets after the Olympics. Very good on the ball and has the ability to beat a player with a piece of skill. COST: 15M

    WINGERS:

JUNIOR HOILETT 21 years old - Blackburn and Canada - As with Martin Olsson wont want to stay with a relegated team, has great pace mixed with tricks and can deliver the final ball. Scores a few goals too and thats always good. COST: 5-10M

EZEQUIEL SCHELOTTO 23 years old - Atalanta and Italy - Another talented player with raw pace and a great crosser and has the ability to be fantastic. Atalanta are in the middle of match-fixing allegations so he might want to get out of there. COST: 10-15M

ELJERO ELIA 25 years old - Juventus and Netherlands - Just one season in Italy but is not really a regular so he may want to move on. Has pace and tricks and I would prefer him to Stewart Downing. COST: 10M

IBRAHIM AFELLAY 26 years old - Barcelona and Netherlands - Has been mentioned a lot as he is rarely gets a game, though he is rather injury prone and something you have to consider. Will be cheap though so worth a pop. COST: 5M

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN 21 years old - Real Sociedad and France - Has become to big for the club and will surely move this summer, dangerous winger who can also play up front. We wouldn't be dealing with a big club so he wouldn't cost that much. COST: 10M

    GOALSCORER

ABEL HERNANDEZ 21 years old - Palermo and Uruguay - Young promising striker who can finish and would link up with Luis well. Has express pace which is good for creating chances for himself. COST: 15M

MATTIA DESTRO 21 years old - Genoa and Italy - Had a great season on loan at Siena and narrowly missed out on the Euros, not a massive name so would not cost big money. Has the potential to be one of the world's most deadly finishers. COST: 10-15M

SEBASTIAN GIOVINCO 25 years old - Parma and Italy - Can play right up top or just behind and is just 5ft 5in which means he is very agile and has great balance and ball control. Parma would be unhappy to lose their best player but he has rather outgrown them. COST: 10-15M

LUUK DE JONG 21 years old - FC Twente and Netherlands - A pure goal scorer which is what we need but not that agile though in goal scoring terms would be great. COST: 15-20M

They are my ideas feel free to comment on them. ThankYou....

Your prices for players leaving [£38m} is way over the top.
only the manager knows how much will be spent on players coming in.

Instead of knocking you down, I give you credit for spending the time and effort writing this well paragraphed, spelled and grammatically correct post regardless how unrealistic your estimates are. Only Roman would buy WeeJay for 5mil just to have a laugh

    Welcome to the boards !

Apart from the prices you expect us to recoup I think this is an excellent first post you are obviously very bright for your age and please ignore any baiting ie; do your homework etc, etc ...... These morons are obviously jealous of your superior football knowledge and intelligence.

Out of the list above I would love to see us get maybe a couple of these:

    De Jong
    Belhanda
    Dzagoev
    Strootman
    Lovren

Also I would only really loan out the aforementioned players in your post if a. we had cover and b. they were guaranteed first team football at the highest level, EPL or equivalent only.

Good realistic post for once totally in shock this being in the transfers thread. I am now going to have a lie down.

Well thought and written. For me De Jong would be great Ramirez also, Affelay looks very promising but it is down to whether the management think so and if we can afford them. I believe some of the players we have should go like Cole Adams and Maxi I would get rid of downing if I thought I could get my money back but will not happen (only coz he's inconsistent and not impressed me).
