    The Krays > The General.

The Krays were what you called proper east end gangsters, terrorised London for years.

Godfather is definitely my favourite, love the book too.

I do think Scarface is a good film but I agree that it is extremely overrated.

Some of my other favourites are Heat, Things To Do In Denver When Your Dead, American Gangster, Leon and Goodfellas.

Watched Once Upon A Time In America a couple of years ago and wasn't overly impressed.

Four pages in and not one mention of 'Training Day'.

So many to choose from going back to the 30's, 40's and 50's.....George Raft, James Cagney, Edward G Robinson etc.

    I would go with:

    1. The Godfather (1972)
    2. The Godfather Part II (1974)
    3. Breathless (1960)
    4. Rififi (1955)
    5. On the Waterfront (1954)

Next five would be a bit more up to date!!

    6. The Killing (1956)
    7. City of God (2002)
    8. Miller's Crossing (1990)
    9. Bonnie and Clyde (1967)
    10. Goodfellas (1990)

Gotta love a bit of City of God.

Have you watched Sin Nombre? It's similar to City of God, brilliant film.

I like Casino, seen it quite a few times, can't remember too much of the others. So i will say Casino is the best. The one with the Cray twins is half decent aswell.

And that was the first scene they filmed.

And he should have won the Oscar for Mona Lisa.
